My build (if I even end up giving one) will suck,

I'll give the competition a try.  Maybe I'll get Dishonorable Mention or something.   :D

Rawr! I desire for the contest to anew! Bring forth the next secret ingredient (hopefully it won't be akin to BeastMaster...).

I think we ought to wait for Caelic's decisions.

And I hope your secret ingredient will be Acolyte of the Skin.

Yes, I'm hoping for an ingredient that I "get" better as it were. Beastmaster just made me go bleh.
I'm quoting this to indicate that it also represents what I believe.

Acolyte of the skin?

You scare me.

You make me feel like I don't know anything about DND.

I don't think entering this challenge was a good idea, as I dont like saying I'll do something and not*.

Right now I'm trying to choose between a feat and a PrC.  It's actually kinda hard to find something that doesn't suck but hasn't already been part of a lot of builds.

Are you going to start a new thread for the next round or keep it in this one?
My work
The tier system in a nutshell:
Tier 6: A cartographer.
Tier 5: An expert cartographer or a decent marksman.
Tier 4: An expert marksman.
Tier 3: An expert marksman, cartographer and chef who can tie strong knots and is trained in hostage negotiation or a marksman so good he can shoot down every bullet fired by a minigun while armed with a rusted single-shot pistol that veers to the left.
Tier 2: Someone with teleportation, mind control, time manipulation, intangibility, the ability to turn into an exact duplicate of anything, or the ability to see into the future with perfect accuracy.
Tier 1: Someone with teleportation, mind control, time manipulation, intangibility, the ability to turn into an exact duplicate of anything and the ability to see into the future with perfect accuracy.
Yes, it'll be in a new thread.  Before I start it, though, I want to do a post mortem here and figure out what we need to change for the next round.

We've had a suggestion that no builds be posted (by those dropping out, or those in the peanut gallery) in order to avoid possibly "spoiling" a competitor's build, and I think that's a good idea.  Any other suggestions?

Possibly a template page posted for contestants to copy their characters into, so that the juedges don't have eyeballs bleeding from 12 different formats.

A template is a good idea.

Perhaps instead of posting scores separately, they should be submitted to Caelic, who can post them all at once?
