Fluff and Aligment
[spoiler]
This games passes on a Eberron-like world. In this campaign most places and people are the same but most events are not. The Last War that happened as in the posts above are an example of such.

Good and neutral alignment only.

We start the game with heroes awaking at the cavern.

You can be one of the first chapter heroes (detailed below) or a member of the Maruk Ghaash'kala clan in the Demon Wastes - see page 159 of Eberron Campaign Setting.

Axel - A fierce woodsman, a man that holds anger for goblins and were at White Fountain passing by in search of a group.[link]

If more players don't appear i shall have more here.

You need not to keep the mechanics on a adopted character. Just the general behavior and capabilities. (No barbarian suddenly becoming a wizard, for example).

Natural 20

Natural 20s are always success, no matter if it is skill, attack, savin throw or whatever other roll made. Special restrictions may be applied.
(i.e. Player X: I want to use balance to step into the molecules of air and walk)
Such cases or similar abuses cannot benefit from this houserule.
Good gaming for you.

In-combat action

In an effort to add extra pulp action to the game, I will be making use of the following rule:
If at any time you find yourself wanting to pull off an action stunt, but feel the multitude of dice rolls and other restrictions make it pointless, this rule comes into play. If there is another method to the same ends that would require no rolls to accomplish, you may undertake the more complicated action without making dice rolls.
For example, you find your enemy on the floor below at the bottom of the stairs. You want to slide down the banister and barge into your opponent, but that would require Jump and/or Balance checks that you know you will fail. Fear not! If you could reach your opponent by simply charging down the stairs, you make slide down the banister without any dice rolls.

Of course, don't go overboard. Do not abuse the rule, but do embrace it. I retain any right to say 'no' to a proposed stunt.
Good gaming for you.

Action Points

Everybody start with 8 action points.

Aside from the normal uses described on page 45 of the Eberron Campaign Setting, it will have a extra one.

Taking 10.
Every time you would have to roll a d20 you can instead spend a action point to trade the result for a 10. You can do so after rolling the dice but cannot do it when the dice result is a 1.
Good gaming for you.
