James Lee Buchanon:
James was a young up and coming soldier in the Confederate Army during the American Civil War. He wasn't fighting for the cause, he was fighting for his family. He chose to join with whichever side his father did. He is a fourth generation soldier. In a desperate attempt to change the course of the war James accompanied his father to see a magician about a secret "unstoppable" weapon. When they arrived at the rendezvous point they were not only met by the magician but by an ambush. James's father was able to draw his saber only to have it be met by close range cannon fire. James was also able to draw his sidearm before his chest became all too familiar with a cannon ball. As he lay dying the last thing he sees is the magician killing his father. Days later James awakes, his spirit restless. James's fathers killers face is etched into his memory. He gathers his fathers broken saber and his sidearm and sets off on the magicians trail. No longer about the war, or about sides James is now solely about exacting his fathers revenge. He didn't care to try and understand why he wasn't effected by the Union soldiers gunfire, or the Native Americans tomahawks and arrows, or why he wasn't killed in a buffalo stampede. When he finally caught up with the magician he charged at him only to see the magician disappear through a portal. James killed everyone at the magicians camp and as he interrogated the magicians men he learned the magician was an immortal. Since then he has followed the magician from country to country through the times so he can have his revenge. Now in modern times James dresses in black boots, black jeans, dark grey shirt and a black leather duster with a confederate flag sown on the back. The duster more often than not gets him into trouble everyone once in a while. He wears his reddish brown hair short and sports a goatee. He carries his Peacemaker strapped to his left leg and his fathers broken saber on his right hip. He also carries two Sites M9 Resolvers. He tracks the magician patiently and has hacked him to bits on more than one occasion. The magician (a lich) always seems to come back so James cannot rest in peace. He gets around on a classic Harley (He grew tired of training his horses just to have them die on him. James is not a hero and he is not a villain. He is a man who been craving revenge for centuries. He will not enter into a fight unless provoked. He will not stand by and let innocent people be killed. He will only wound you unless you go for the kill first.
