I think Changes alone is enough to leave smoke rising.

"Just what do you think the moon up in the sky is? Everyone sees that big, round shiny thing and thinks there must be something round up there, right? That's just silly. The truth is much more awesome than that. You can almost never see the real Moon, and its appearance is death to humans. You can only see the Moon when it's reflected in things. And the things it reflects in, like water or glass, can all be broken, right? Since the moon you see in the sky is just being reflected in the heavens, if you tear open the heavens it's easy to break it~"

The Dragonbone Chair, by Tad Williams, with the intent of reading all of the Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn trilogy before brushing up on the Wizardwar trilogy for a PbP.

Currently rereading the Godspeaker Trilogy (Empress, The Riven Kingdom, and Hammer of God) by Karen Miller. The enemy empire in my current campaign is based off these books.

Sadly the libaray doesn't have changes in hardback only an Ereader version which isn't supported by the kindle..... :shakefist they do however have the collection of short stories..

On the other hand I picked up  "Imperium" by Robert Harris and i'm enjoying it so far,i'm also reading Black Hawk down.

Currently jsut need to read Side stories to be all up to date on Dresden, I am seriously thinking about spending the 100+ to order all of the current books from the Sci-fi book club

Also have gotten the newest book in Fate of the JEdi and finshed it.

Just finished reading Patrick Rothfuss' Kingkiller chronicles (or the two books that are out).  The Name of the Wind and A Wise Man's Fear, both damn good reads.

Today I read Kafka's Metamorphosis in the tram. I bought that thing like months ago and only finally got around to reading it now. Also read the first three Dresden Files books over the past weeks.

Dickens' A Christmas Carol I found on the street back in the UK, Nabokov's Lolita for sheer curiosity and Lemmy Kilmister's autobiography, because he is a god.

Couple of obscure books about
the Chinese Civil Wars circa 1850 - 1875.
Taiping and Hui Rebellions.
Bigger and deadlier than WW1.
Brutal.
