Carric makes quick work of the weakened zombie before him, not leaving much to connect to much else.
Carric, make a Perception check and PM it to me
The second of the zombies now lays inanimate once again; only three remain.

The zombie holding Darius struggles to his feet, but keeps a firm hold.
Darius easily avoids a clumsy blow directed at him, but is unable to get free.

Skarrandar moves up and takes a swing at the nearest zombie, marking him.

Skarrandar aims an attack at the nearby zombie, but the floor is slick with water and juices.  Skar slips just enough to send his attack hurtling through the air, missing the zombie.

The zombie once again languishes in the midst of the short-lived flames.
You can see the flesh charring and flaking away from the bone; this zombie can't take much more of this.

Thrashing at the fiend clawing his leg, Darius swings at the zombie.
Fun Fact:  When a zombie is clawing at your leg, it's really easy to panic and miss him when you attack.
Darius tries to get some leverage to attack the zombie clinging to him, but he just can't get it to work; the zombie's just too close.

Telchar moves over to the right and then northeast and aims a reaping strike at the zombie grappling Darius while trying not to accidentally hit the cleric.
Moving one right, then one up and right. 12 to hit, 12 damage on hit, 1 on miss
Darius and the zombie aren't so much grappling as the zombie has an iron grip on Darius's torso, and Darius is trying to beat the zombie off of him.
Smacking the zombie without getting Darius turns out to be a difficult task, so you have to settle for a cheap shot to the back of the zombie's skull.

Carric slips between the dwarf and the zombie, spinning mid-motion to slip his dagger into the zombie.

Carric's Dagger slices through the back of the zombie's neck, and Darius can immediately feel its grip weaken as it slumps to the ground.

While Telchar and Carric watch the zombie fall, the other two zombies come up behind them and attack.

One of the zombies catches Telchar with a brutal swing (dealing 12 damage), while the other clumsily tries to grab Carric, but is anything but successful.

Determined to make up for his miss, Skarrandar moves to the next closest and takes a swing, marking it at the same time.
18 to hit, 4 dmg, bolstering strike, zombie is marked if not dead.  If it is dead, mark the other one.

Skarrandar manages to connect solidly with the weakened zombie, but it isn't enough to take it down.

The zombie looks at the Dragonborn and moans as the light of Bahamut reaches him.

Doriavan attempts to destroy the same zombie with another blast of fire.
Who knew zombies were so resistant to fire?
Fire once again engulfs the zombie, but he doesn't fall to the fiery onslaught.  You suspect that the only reason he's still up is that his flesh has stiffened and burnt in a standing position.

"Much better."  Taking only the briefest instant to wipe away the remnants of the undead filth, Darius summons a spear of intense light, and hurls it toward the zombie on the left.
Attack Against Z2
Lance of Faith. (1d20 4=17, 1d8 1=7)

If hit, 7 radiant damage to Z2, and Carric enjoys a +2 power bonus to his next strike against Z2.
If Z2 doesn't die, I'll move to U11.  If it does, I'll stay put.
The spear of holy light strikes the zombie, then proceeds to shatter into hundreds of smaller shafts of light that jump across the zombie's body, gradually dimming.
Each time the light touches the zombie, a smoking spot is left behind.

After the attack finally fades, the zombie is left much weaker than it was before.

"Let's do it again, Carric! I'll hold this'n, you get that one!" Telchar says as he strikes the zombie with his lightning hammer, then slams his shield into it, forcing it backwards.
27 to hit Z3 for 14 damage with Tide of Iron and shift him right one space if he is somehow still alive. So close to a crit too (not that it should matter a whole lot).
The zombie simply isn't able to take that kind of abuse.
He goes flying into the wall, then  crumples into a heap of dead tissue and bones.

"Right then... one to go." Slipping past the remaining zombie, Carric moves into a flank and strikes.
