What? Aww, not again. First Gygax, now Arneson? This is a sad day.

...On the bright side, they must be having one hell of a game up there.
I know.  They were about thirteen months apart, or so?

And when we go, we know there'd be one hell of a game waiting for us up there!

"Just what do you think the moon up in the sky is? Everyone sees that big, round shiny thing and thinks there must be something round up there, right? That's just silly. The truth is much more awesome than that. You can almost never see the real Moon, and its appearance is death to humans. You can only see the Moon when it's reflected in things. And the things it reflects in, like water or glass, can all be broken, right? Since the moon you see in the sky is just being reflected in the heavens, if you tear open the heavens it's easy to break it~"

So.  I work at a ski shop.  I shouldn't find this... funny, per se, but ski helmet sales are way up.

Y'know, I find the apparent numerology of this eerie. Gary Gygax was 69 when he died. They were THIRTEEN months apart, and adding up Dave Ameson's age we have 7, which is considered a magic number in many cultures. Almost feels like the start for a bad cultist-based campaign...

WHY DID IT HAVE TO BE BERNIE MAC!??!?

I found out literally an hour after they announced it on the air. My friend had come home from the dump, and he heard it on the radio. Mac was one hell of an actor and a comedian. He didn't deserve to die so young.

...ok, literally the only things I've seen Bernie Mac in were The Bernie Mac show and trailers for that piece of shit disney movie he was in... are these just piss poor examples of him? is there better stuff out there?

The Bernie Mac show was meh, the Disney movies sucked. The real gold was from the Oceans movies, like Oceans 13. He was bloody hilarious in those.

I also heard some bullshit about her getting arrested and thrown in jail for murder or something, but I don't necessarily believe it, never saw an article.

regardless, I kinda consider her to have died when she tossed the pin up costumes for a kneeler and rosary.
