nice thing about psionics is that a power of a given level stays that level even when augmented. overchannel + talented + level 3 or below powers = boost manifestor and pp level cap with no damage.
Doesn't that also mean it's easier to dispel too if there's transparency?
Dispelling is based on CL/ML, not power or spell level.
Hmm. That makes me wonder why the DM always asks us what level a spell/power we're putting up, and makes a note of it.
That affects saving throws and blocking via Resilient Sphere and the like. And then there are items and feats and such that affect specific levels of effects, like arcanist gloves, rods of absorption, and similar.
Nothing to do with dispelling. You might want to ask your DM what's up there.
