Psh, I'll make it work WITHOUT an 18 and WITH a 10 in one score! You'll see! :P Seriously though, I find it funny. Watch us all roll terribly in combat or something.

What feats did you choose?  Also, those aren't the "flaws" we were talking about... http://www.d20srd.org/srd/variant/buildingCharacters/characterFlaws.htm

What kind of rogue were you thinking about?  What kind of personality & what niches will he fill?

His character sheets linked there in his name. The myth-weavers sheet doesnt post the feats, he did a statblock gen just to copy/paste in here, same as I did basically. I just manually added in the feats and such.

Looks good so far.. afew thoughts  :D
We are supposed to be really young, you have the min age for adult dwarf posted but I think we are teenagers? Also since your not evil Im guessing your building a treasure hunter, dungeon explorer type of character? I would suggest when you level up multiclassing into swashbuckler, they get some nice int/dex stuff and you can take a feat that lets the swashbuckler levels stack with rogue for SA damage.
If you want to check out THIS is a rogue handbook, could give you some good future build ideas. It lists suggested feats and good stuff like that  :D
PS. i did reply here.. but you should post over in the brainstorming thread  ;)

Ok, so clearly I need to spend more time on my character...I'm sticking with the race and class though.  I just need to rearrange a bit on stats...skills...and feats...flaws...and I'm sticking with Introverted ... unless that's homebrewed...right, I'll work on this tonight. ;)

The rerolled 1's really helped!

Race and class are all good -- there really aren't that many choices to make at 1st level, so you could wait and see how you fit in a little.

In terms of background, I'm going to repost and respond over in the background thread :D

I keep going round and around about what class(es) to pick... and I have a crazy idea... I'm thinking of going with a warforged binder! I'd like to change the fluff of the class, though, and say that he's basically a vessel that contains multiple souls for some reason (imprisoned, they willingly put themselves in there for immortality, etc). I'm not sure why they'd do that, but they'd be a variety of insane supernatural beasts/spellcasters/or hell... dragons! from the ancient past imprisoned in this "golem", basically. The vestiges, personality changes, and signs would all just be manifestations of the one that's currently in control. He'd also be borderline multiple-personality disorder (not sure if I want to say the "main" personality is always dominant, or not). Heck... maybe he started out as a normal "golem", but somehow became infused with the ghosts of the ancient past somehow. He was lying dormant in a place where a lot of powerful creatures died, or something? Hmm.... HEY!!! I know! How about a dragon graveyard?!

I think this would make a surprisingly effective character. Would it be OK if I add the "magic-blooded" template (-2 wis, +2 cha) to avoid having a cha penalty on a cha-dependent class?

So...
magic-blooded dragonborn (heart) warforged binder 1
Feats: Dragon Wings, Improved Binding, Entangling Exhalation

Fluffwise, he's an ancient golem, built by a society ruled by dragons. Lying dormant in a dragon tomb, over thousands of years he has soaked up fragments of the spirits of these ancient fallen dragons, and now awakened with sentience, a fraction of their powers, and bizarre effects which manifest on him. We'll say he is physically weaker than he was originally, also. Could we refluff the ritual of binding, too? Not sure how to do that, though.

His name will definitely be Legion, though. :D And instead of looking like a typical warforged, he'll look more like a draconic runic guardian, or something.

Overall racial stat mods would be +4 con, -2 dex & -4 wis

With the array, I guess I'd go:
Str 16
Dex 12 (14-2 race)
Con 22 (18+4 race)
Int 10
Wis 8 (12-4 race)
Cha 16

So hit points would be 14.
I'd probably start out binding Amon for the ram attack. The horns are cool looking, too. Will flesh out the rest later.

ACK!  One of the original things was no Tome of Magic or Incarnum, for story reasons (though they might become available later).  :(  I love the idea, though.  Let's see if we can make it work otherwise.

Ah crap, I forgot all about that...  :( Hmm... how can we make that fluff work for a different class?

Hmm.... I had been thinking of going with dread necro. I guess that could work, too, if you give it a bit more of a necromantic spin. Just replace Improved Binding with Tomb-touched Soul, or whatever the one that makes you healed by negative energy is...

I just realised a tibbit transforming into a cat doesn't get Weapon Finesse. Can that be handwaved..? Actually, reading the cat that part from Skills about Dex instead of Str for Climb/Jump would also make sense, although I'm not sure if I'm stretching things here.

Well you can do that if you like.  I have two alternative ideas for you:
1) You can play the binder, but with access to a limited list of vestiges.  You can expand that list with homebrew vestiges if you can find/make good flavorful ones.  In exchange for the loss of versatility, you (a) don't manifest a sign, (b) don't have to draw a seal, and (c) can 1/day change vestiges as a full-round action.  Basically it makes the whole "binding" process an internal rather than external one.

2) We can homebrew a class to do this more officially.  I'm envisioning it kind of like a mixture of binder, chameleon, spirit shaman, and Channel the Mishtai -- call it the "medium".  If this version interests you let me know and I'll start working on it.  I think it would be actually extremely cool.  :)

This sounds fine. It requires fewer changes, and we can come up with some interesting custom vestiges for him based on ancient, powerful dragons or other figures from the civilization he was a product of. They wouldn't quite be full-blown vestiges, but would be linked to him enough to basically manifest themselves through him. We might say that another binder who learned of them could try to bind them too, though (whatever you think).

We could also of course just recycle some of the current ones with different fluff, which would be easier. Would you allow this one, reflavored with a draconic spin? It certainly seems like it would work well with a draconic flavor, I think. I understand if you want to tone it down a bit, though.
