And... I just realized that my hit points are going to stink... If I take the average, they'll be 57.5. That's not very good for a character that plans to be in melee as much as possible...

Any chance of allowing a homebrewed feat to add Cha or Int mod to hit points instead of Con? I know of Faerie Mysteries Initiate for Int, from Dragon 319, but even if that was allowed... it really, really doesn't fit my character thematically. I don't plan on optimizing either of those stats that much, by the way. I'll have at most 14 in them, before magic items and/or buffs.

Evidently there is such a feat in the Tome of Horrors 3 (a 3rd party book by Necromancer Games).

A couple of water benders, a dike, a flaming arrow, and a few barrels of blasting jelly?

Sounds like the makings of a gay porn film.

Busy busy day, and the new forum still hasn't been put up grumble. If I miss any questions here let me know.

K, but please don't say they're because you have ghost ancestors. Say something like you're really bonded with the world of the dead or really old or something like that. :p

Haha, nothing as silly like that. Just about anyone could have ghost ancestors after all. :P

I posted the Spectral Heritor feats to a separate thread here: Spectral Heritor feats.

I don't plan on taking all of them should you approve, but I got kind of carried-away when writing them up.  :D

Ok, I don't really have time to do an in-depth review, but they look good enough to be allowed.

Also yes to the telepathy feat. If casters can get with an easy mindbender dip it's only fair others can get it with a feat.

PhaedrusXY:Yes you can have that vampire god with the hunger domain.

The tome of horrors feat allowed.

Also, I'll repeat my previous disclaimer in case you missed it:

"if you didn't burn the preqreuisite feats of the ritual, then you'll be under the bond of a vampire NPC, that sooner or later will come and ask for some service. You only have 3 feats listed now (out of a possible 7 with the bonus EWP) so not sure if you intend to take the vampire prerequisite feats or no."

zook1shoe:Wait, chicken what?  Sorry but no , having twenty or more chickens on the battlefield is kinda too much clogging for PbP. Tiny creatures are still able to block movement for medium creatures after all.  Also I don't have a water elemental class done and it doesn't even has LA if I'm not mistaken.

Besides Tauric doesn't work between halfling and wispling (one of them needs to be some kind of animal/beast).

Sweet, thanks.

Yeah, I saw that. I just hadn't responded. I expected as much. Since we're working for an evil overlord anyway, I thought it wouldn't make much difference. I have toyed around with taking the feats, but probably won't. I think vampires should be created by other vampires, anyway, not made in rituals...

Here is my character sheet (WIP, of course).

Hotdamn, I have the most HP! That's an interesting change, since I normally don't play front-liners.

edit: Will retraining later be allowed?

A gygaxian dungeon is like the world's most messed up game show.

Behind door number one: INSTANT DEATH!
Behind door number 2: A magic crown!
Behind door number 3: 4d6 giant bees, and THREE HUNDRED POUNDS OF HONEY!
They don't/haven't, was the point. 3.5 is as dead as people not liking nice tits.

Sometimes, their tits (3.5) get enhancements (houserules), but that doesn't mean people don't like nice tits.

Though sometimes, the surgeon (DM) botches them pretty bad...
Best metaphor I have seen in a long time.  I give you much fu.
Three Errata for the Mage-kings under the sky,
Seven for the Barbarian-lords in their halls of stone,
Nine for Mortal Monks doomed to die,
One for the Wizard on his dark throne
In the Land of Charop where the Shadows lie.

d8. I took average because it ensured I wouldn't get 3 nat 1's on my hp out of my 7 rolls. That's happened with IC for the last 7 characters I have made, no joke.

edit: That said, my Con mod will be going up by +2 next level, so we'll see who has the most HP then :P

But, but, you could play a 9-headed medusa that stones the world at once!

Alright, Wispy Ghostlight the Third, Senior is now finished. Background below.
Wispy was a somewhat strange Will-o-Wisp, even by their (aberrant) standards. His species are tricksters by any standards, luring travelers to their deaths, but Wispy took a different approach. He reasoned that if they were going to die, why stretch it out? Those travelers that he chose to prey upon found themselves suddenly shocked by his natural electric abilities, and killed. That was his first heresy against his people. The other was instead of giving the dead flesh to the swamp, and to He Who Lurks Beneath It, Wispy actually ate it. This habit led him to reject the herbivore diet of the rest of his clan, and as a result, he was banished. He wandered for some time, sampling many varieties of flesh. And he began to develop new powers, as the flesh diet changed his body and augmented his natural magic with a different kind (The fact that he preferred magic-using bodies may also have had something to do with it, as well as their tendency to have fiendish guards).

Eventually, he ran across a group of forces working for an obscure Lich in the north. They were able to stop him easily, but his powers, unusual for a Will-o-Wisp, convinced them to cage him, and bring him to their Lord. Intrigued by the change that such a diet could bring about in him, the Lich retained Wispy as an ongoing project, giving him to opportunity to develop his abilities in exchange for his service. Since that meant he got a steady supply of flesh to consume, he had absolutely no problem with this arrangement.
So, that's what I have, for the moment.
