Can summoned undead be rebuked?
« on: September 22, 2011, 05:51:46 AM »
I've looked around and can't get a clear answer.  Anyone know the answer?  Thanks.

What makes you think they couldn't be? They're undead, so they should be susceptible (and immune) to all the things "normal" undead are, except where the Conjuration (Summoning) subschool directly contradicts this.
[spoiler]
A couple of water benders, a dike, a flaming arrow, and a few barrels of blasting jelly?

Sounds like the makings of a gay porn film.
...thanks

I recall a problem with this and have a skilled Cleric to deal with.  His go-to is a Summon that brings in a bunch of Ogre zombies.  They arrive with clubs, so Protection from Evil won't block their attacks.  I'll ask him to affirmatively prove that summoned undead can't be rebuked and report back.  Thanks.
