Dear all,
I will be trying to enter a game
here. My idea for my concept is a Necropolitan that's a ruler of a nation. I really wanna focus on being powerful and undead. I'm thinking of the following:
Race: Necropolitan Illumian with appropriate sigils to persist 2 arcane spells
Class: Cleric 11 (Chameleon 1) // Wizard 11 (Chameleon 2)
1: Extend Spell (Domain), Persistent Spell
3: Divine Metamagic: Persistent Spell
5: Acquire Familiar
7: Leadership
9: ?
11: ?
Allowed Books: Stronghold builders guide, Complete series, Races Series, Dragon Magic, Dragonomicon, Spell Compendium, Arms and Equipment guide, City Builders Guide, Heroes of Battle, Libris Mortis, Heroes of Horror, Magic Item Compendium, Dungeonscape
My character will be a Chameleon as well for the floating feat to craft. My character will have to craft all items himself. I need some suggestions on tactics to make my undead awesome with the allowed books, (All completes, all races, dragon magic, and spell compendium, and all Pathfinder). Pathfinder is the primary source.
Questions:
1. What items should I buy? I plan on making everything so cost should be reduced at least by half: I have 108,000 GP
2. What tactics should I use to bolster my Undead? These are Pathfinder Rules which means command undead is nerfed to 7th level and you have to take a feat to command undead as a cleric and they still get to make will saves.
3. What should my spell selection as a wizard and cleric be to control the battlefield especially since pathfinder nerfed a lot of spells and I need replacement save or dies.
4. What spells should I use to become nearly invincible and to be a truly great paranoid wizard?
5. What other feats do you think I should take to boost my character?
6. What advice does anyone have on playing a wizard and cleric with access to 6th level spells?
7. Are there any good spells that rely ranged touch attack, cone, line, or ray spells, I'm considering being a Gunslinger and being able to shoot spells through the gun with these effects for a +5 DC, anything that's worth using that for?
8. I'm thinking of having a Bard/Diresinger cohort who never stops singing. Any suggestions?
