Is that based off some complex opinion weighing character development, immersion and affects the reader in some way, handling resolutions of conflict etc. or simple math equation like parody of LotR > parody of emo vamps whom are a parody of horror vamps? The latter. But we don't even have confirmation on who's writing the novel this time around. Hopefully it's Matthew Stover, the guy who wrote ToM. Or Scott McGough, seeing as he did a similar set's novel (Torment).
