I'm kind of interested, but not sure what I'd want to play. Probably would go with an already built character due to lack of time to build one from scratch...
However... I'm tempted to try a "mole" ToB type with the mineral warrior template (for a burrow speed). I'd take Spring Attack, Scorpion's Senses (or some other way to get Tremorsense), and pop out of the ground and hit people with maneuvers, then pop back in. That's not exactly all that great for the party, but it sure as hell would be fun...
What exactly do you have in the party now? Do they currently have a trapspringer/rogue type?
Or hell... I guess since you're in an area with a bunch of werewolves, that a were-(dire)badger (holy crap they have massive stats! and I'd get the Rage!) could work for a burrow speed, also, and would be hilarious.
stub
dwarven dire-badger lord (afflicted) fighter (lion totem barbarian?) 1/animal 3/warshaper 2/warblade (crusader?)2
stat adjustments (animal or hybrid form): +8 str, +6 dex, +14 con, +2 wis (+4 more str/con when raging)
+5 NA in animal or hybrid
burrow 10' (animal form only, 20' when focused)
Feats: Hidden Talent, Iron Will (bonus), Speed of Thought, (Dodge, Mobility, Spring Attack.... maybe... rethinking this...)
Later: Deepwarden for Con to AC? More warshaper?
Goddammit... now I'm excited to play this guy.
