The Raven continues to feast while his master picks up the contract and begins to read through it thoroughly, the young whisper gnome taking his time reviewing the document.

With everything seeming to be in order, the provided pen is picked up, dipped into the ink and his signature is given in loopy common.

The contract is then rolled up and set away from the food and drink as not to get it splattered while he finishes the wonderful assortment of good food upon his plate and the spiced ale in his goblet.

Between mouthfuls he simply adds "I have no problem seeing in the dark as well"

"Well then, I'd propose we start closing in on this place at duskfall. I'm an excellent scout, so I wont mind taking point in this, and I have a bit of knowledge in avoiding traps. I'm admittedly poor at dismantling them, though really I'd rather we circumvent them anyways..." Cace seemed to have finished a sizable plate of stewed meats and breads, and sat back thinking to himself. "Unless..... anyone has another idea. I'm by no means a clever or tactical leader, so don't think I'm trying to take that position. Call it eagerness, rather..."

Beorn takes yet another bite of steak and a sip of wine I agree we move at night. Won't help much against dark elves if they're still around, as they probably can see in the dark at least as well as we do, but we might run into other things that are less gifted in this field, and even with darkvision, most dark elves use the night for rest.

To Cace, Kalal says "I have some understanding of anti-intrusion devices, and how they may be disabled. You might call it... empathy."

"Moving at duskfall suits me though if I am to work with you all I would have a measure of your talents.  For my own, I am a skilled in the arts of the wild.  Hunting, tracking, and such.  I can move with a remarkable degree of stealth and have sharp eyes and ears.  Skilled with the blade and others the bow is my weapon of choice.   If needed, I also have talents understanding traps and devices as well."

Looking about the table,"Now I would like to know of you my companions before as I risk my life with and for you.  Some of you have interesting talents that have been made apparent" he says nodding respectfully towards Mialgru.

Kalal replies "As a creature of stone, I am quite resistant to most blows, as you might expect. I can also travel through any earth softer than stone as a fish travels through water.

I was created to aid in defending temples, so I have a variety of other abilities as well. I can be stealthy when needed, can provide some healing for myself and allies while in combat, and can steal the spells of those I strike.

The strength of my form does not lend itself to non-combat interactions, though. I often damage things unintentionally, including creatures..."

Brone watched this with a look on his face as though he were entertained at the antics of sharing information. When nobody else spoke, and eyes fell to him, he said simply, "I infiltrate, kill, and steal. My abilities lend themselves to my causes." With that and a shrug, he sat back, apparently done sharing.

I am every person, and no person at once, I'm a bird that soars above you, yet hides in the shadows. I am Mialgru.

"As I mentioned before, I am a practicioneer of the arcane arts" He said with a nod, between mouthfuls of meat and bread, the raven seemed to favor the meat as they both ate.

Mizar chokes a laugh as his brother speaks, then stops eating and says: Come on bro, don't you think you're exagerating a bit? Now you make poems to introduce yourself?. He sighs loudly, then, passing his gaze on everyone of the fellow travelers at the table speaks again, now more serious.

I channel the power of Dragons and other magical beasts. In the wilderness I am at home and provided I don't get too close to my enemies, I'm a pretty good element in a fight. Just... Be aware of one thing: I tend to lose focus very easily so I'm not a great solo scout.

Crossing his arms he sits back slowly closing his eyes but still listening to the conversation taking place around him.

Believe.

The dwarf Mialgru is currently in the shape of bursts laughing from his brothers comment. Then suddenly getting hiccups from the great amount of ale he was swallowing at the same time

Did you see their faces? Just for a second! It was hillarious! He almost yells in draconic. The voice sounding weird coming from his great dwarven lungs.

I did search for some word *hiccup* in common to rhyme with Mialgru, and make it into a much longer poem. When people see my abilities *hiccup*, they always believe I am some great druid of old. I have come to find that fact very amazing, however untrue it is. He says smilingly in draconic. Still chuckling and hiccuping from his former outburst of laughter.

Anyway, he continues in common, now almost done with his laughter. My name is Mialgru, and I can change my shape. However useful that might seem, it is a rather limited ability, I'm fairly adequate with most weapons, and I know a lot about living of the land. That's about it.

Kalal does something that probably surprises a few people and sits down and starts eating.

I liked it. Beorn replys in draconic with a smile while making a mental note that somebody who casually admits to killing and stealing probably isn't the most cheerful person in the world to have as a companion, and then continues in common: If you're looking for combat skills, I'm afraid I can't help you. I'm a scholar, not a fighter. I do know a lot of useful things though and I can conjure some magic if need be.

Kulgan finishes a savory meal and pats his slightly rotund frame with a satisfied smile on his face.  Suddenly his face perks up as if he has just remembered something.  Standing up he looks around the room his eyes finally settling on Beorn, "If you would like to take a look at the library now I can show you in."

He turns without really checking to see if anyone is following him and heads out of the room towards an exit on the rear left.

You see none of the contracts or any of your samples at his end of the table.

@Arthur
I'm as that when you are able to get back online you will sign the contract, if not PM me and I'll modify the situation.
Brone took a last swig of his drink while standing, and grabbed his sword belt as he turned away from the table. He didn't really know why he'd care about a library, but there might be something interesting there otherwise.

Bobbynock had just finished with his meal when Kulgan mentioned the library, taking a few moments to down the last bit of his spiced ale. He then hopped off the chair he had been standing on, tapping the top of his hat moments before Shadow Wing retook his usual perch. He moved over towards Kulgan, ready to be led to their desination.
Invisble Castle is currently down, will roll preception later, if he(or Shadow Wing) saw it, it'll just be mentally noted heh.

"If it is all the same I think I shall stay here and enjoy our host's drink while you delve into the dusty pages," Jax says looking to his hosts for any sign of denial as he takes another sip.

The dwarf arise and follow the others to the library. His tankard still in his hand half full of ale, and a chicken leg he is gnawing on as he leaves the room.

For those of you heading to the library.
Leading you through the castle in a meandering path, Kulgan eventually leads you to the second floor of a tower.  He points to a somewhat lackluster library with a look of helplessness and a shrug and says, "This is all we have.  You may find something in the reports kept in that shelf."  He points to a small wall in which a number of leather-bound tomes rests each with a year pressed into its cover.

"I will be upstairs resting if you should need any further assistance.  When you are ready to leave please let Jerren over there know and he will escort you to the keep exit so that you may begin your mission.  Good luck in your hunt both here and beyond," he states, the last part fading out a bit as he turns and begins walking upstairs.

The guard Jerren is standing at the door to the library.  He smiles at you when his name is spoken, and then his mouth settles back into an even line.
For those of you still back in the dining hall.
A guard wanders back in from outside.  "Hello sirs, my name is Luke.  Whenever you feel that you have finished with your meal I will be privileged to escort you from the keep so that you may begin your mission."  He sets up post next to the door that you came through earlier and appears to be settling in for a long and patient wait.
