Just received a PM expressing interest.  Is anyone feeling like we have too many characters already or would you be willing to have one more PC come into the game?  If so any roles you would like to have filled?

I'm ok with it. We're already many so combat will take forever anyway :P, so I see no harm in adding one more person

No objections here

Sure as long as people are posting regularly or tell when they can't, so others will have to control them in combat I have no objections to this.

Since we're first level, I wouldn't be surprised if the first few combats "cull the herd" a bit. So it might not hurt to pad our numbers a bit. :P

I think we could use someone to fill the role of meatsack, but let 'em play what they want otherwise.  :smirk

I say welcome them! It's too damn hard to get into a pbp as is.

What do you guys think we should do about healing, since we're level 1 and all? Rely entirely on the crusader or should one of us prepare healing spells (since our cleric worships Wee Jas he needs to prepare them as well)?

I can heal 4 HP on myself per day. Apart from that I have no healing ability whatsoever.

If vilenatas will let us do "martial spirit boxing" to heal up between encounters, that should be enough for healing for now, I think.

I guess what is really meant is what are we going to do about healing without trying to turn the several characters with healing abilities into healbots?

In a pinch we have...

Crudader - In Combat
Archivist -
Cleric -
Ranger - Can prep them in a couple levels but as with others not likely to do so.

We actually have a lot of healing potential in the party.  Just not the cheap free all the time variety.  We may have some delay of adventure wound licking time is all.

This. Both me and the cleric need to prepare cure spells, which means the waste of a potentially useful spell slot.

In 2 or 3 levels time I should be able to provide all the healing I may require on my own. I am, however interested in pooling some gold for a wand when we have it.

Until then I hope only of one or two heals, and we should have to rest to heal. All in all, healing isn't that important at first level IMO.

Anyway, I guess I could take some levels in a class that granted me fast healing so you wouldn't have to think about me. That would stunt my build a bit though.

Don't think that's necessary. The moment we can afford a Lesser Vigor wand we're good.

Hello all Thank you for letting me join.  It looks like this is going to be a neat game.

It looks like the Gnome in the group is out number Kobolds.

I was going to play a meat sheild like someone noted in the OOC area but Hallack talked me into "Dragon Shaman//Swordsage"

My char fits right in to this party most of them is sometime of Dragon type.

DM after I post this I will post in the charactor area so you can look at my charactor.  I have some some questions for you and I may need to do some tweeking on it after you rule on my questions.

DM, I change what you told me to do on my char.

How do you want me to join the party?

Enter the inn and see the Gnome somewhere and start talking with him.  Have I already meet the Duke?

Is anybody taking BOLD GREEN as a text color?

I'm green so it might get confusing. Although, I'm willing to try it out as there seem to be no more text colours available.

Ok, This will be the color that I will use Bold Gray.

Tork is not much of a meat sheild but very hard to hit sheild especially as he levels up in swordsage.  Tork will be using his maneuvers in battle to do most his damage. Tork is not a high damage dealer but a very annoying target to our enemy.  Before the battle starts Tork will use a swift action to start his Senses Aura which will give everybody  +1 to listen, spot and initiative to everybody with in 30 feet.  After we get into the battle he will change his Arua to Vigor which will give each party memeber with in 30 feet fast healling +1, if they go below 1/2 total HP the vigor arua will heal up to only 1/2 total the charactors HP so as long as someone does not go below -10; all I have to do is walk within 30 feet of them to bring them back.

At 4th lvl Tork will get a breath weapon which could entangle the enemy which will help control the battle field.

As soon as the vilenatas tells me, how he wants to bring me into the party, I will start posting in the game.

Thanks to everybody for letting me join. This game looks like its going to be fun game. :)
