Also, about Knock-Down, the (minor) confusion is that it's in the "Divine" (as in Gods) section of the SRD, seemingly only open to deities even though it's tagged [General], but from where the feat is from (Deities and Demigods p.51), in the feats section entry it says that those feats were originaly designed to be used by PCs, plus it being tagged [General].. so it's fine to take it I guess.

Auto hypnotism as monk class skill

I searched forEVER trying to find that itty bit of info whilst building my damned character. Thank you, for letting me know I'm not crazy, and there IS a way.

Unfortunately, it's too late, the game's already started. Many thanks to everyone for pitching in, and if you'd like to suggest some powers, I'm still open to hearing them. So far I have Expansion and Inertial Armor.

In the future I'll probably grab:

Metaphysical Weapon
Hustle
Perfect Riposte
Freedom of Movement, Psionic
Inertial Barrier
Dimension Door, Psionic

That's all I've thought of so far.

Kalastar Monk 2nd level racial substitution level gets a psionic bonus feat instead of a monk feat and also gets Autohypnosis as a class skill for that level. Autohypnosis is a prerequisite for Tashalatora, the cornerstone of many Psi-Gishes.

Not to mention that Kalastar are the only LA+0 race with access to Quori Embeded Shards. The Power Link (Link Power?) Shard gives 6 PP for augmenting, while the Ectoplasmic Fist gives +1 unarmed damage size; you can have 1 shard per ML, though you lose 1 max HP for each one.

That and the +1 PP/character level the Kalastar gets...the race has a lot of synergy for a Psi-Gish.

EDIT: Checking it now, it even gets Knowledge (psionics). I guess I understand fully the build now. But Knowledge Devotion.. And War Mind gets Autohypnosis too.. Well, fuck me. Carry on.

As I've said, I've never run anything like this. I've found the Quori Embeded Shards from Eberron Campaign Setting, is there any more, in other books?

Also, I know this isn't really the place to ask, but where's the description of the masterwork items that grant skill bonuses? They're 50 gp, IIRC? I can't find it...
