[@edit] i think that the prereqs are so horrible, you're better off taking sorcerer levels and selecting good feats instead.

As an exemple of how to incorporate Spelldancer nicely into a build, there's BeholderSlayer's Swiftblade.

Another REALLY good option for a Sorcerer is the War Mage, also from Age of Mortals. Crappy feats to enter, but you get CHA to AC to yourself and 2 allies, +3 damage per die, 2 metamagic feats and a bundle of awesome!
Read, every day, something no one else is reading. Think, every day, something no one else is thinking. Do, every day, something no one else would be silly enough to do. It is bad for the mind to be always part of unanimity.

Swiftblade, yeah you lose 4 caster levels but it effectively gets you 3.0 haste and time stop as a free action among many other things.

You'll need to pick up Knowledge: Religion to get into either of these, but if you can swing that these classes do have some nice benefits to most casters and they also have full casting progression.

Sacred Exorcist - Turn Undead (which gives you access to some nifty Divine feats that are mostly Cha based)

Divine Oracle - Evasion, Uncanny Dodge, Trap Sense, divination based bonuses, and the Oracle Domain
