Q 238

At what level can an Artificer make a scroll of a level 1 Assassin spell?
First level, assuming you can make the UMD check to make the scroll.

Just a follow up.. So a 7th level Artificer can make scrolls of 9th level cleric spells from the Ur-Priest spell progression?

:lol Sorry, no. It's based on spell level. What level the class gets it at doesn't matter... One moment while I check sources, just to be sure.
EDIT:  :twitch But...  :twitch Ur priest have weird minimum CL. Trick is valid.
It can be Done!

So by level 7, i have level 9 cleric spells, and level 9 sorc/wiz from beholder mage, and level 9 domain spells from divine crusader... Sounds like a decent spell list :)

Q 237
Part 1. Isn't the Lords of Madness Beholder Mage considered the update for the Monsters of Faerun Beholder Mage?
Part 2. Does the fact the Lords of Madness Beholder Mage specifies True Beholder invalidate player use via Polymorph Any Object trickery?
True beholder (the kind with a central antimagic eye and the normal lesser eyelasers) as opposed to the weird beholder subspecies introduced in lords of madness.

Q 236: Could I circumvent 2 racial HD aquired via multiheaded template through dieing 2 times and being resurrected with "Raise Dead" twice? Then as I level up I would just take class levels instead.
I remember either this or being Energy Drained and losing two levels from failing the Fort saves would work for things like that, yes. One of them specifically says you can choose whether to retake the same levels, choose which ones you lose, etc.

That's awesome!

It's pretty debatable.  There are several other, more fatal/less beneficial, ways it could work.

Q240: If you do, say, get a vampire to level drain you down to the point where you only have 1 RHD (and fail your saves), does that mean you get to replace your 1 RHD with an actual class level?

Bump

Q 234 Where's the rule that states that if you give a creature full HP instead of the half HP progression, that it increases their CR by +1?

Q 241 When it says "applied to all Con-based checks", does that include Fort saves too? Or just skill-based saves?

Possession? You possess a body, and invite another spirit to co-inhabit it with you?  :smirk

Oh, no, you can bind whatever.  Ghosts have physical bodies.  It's just that a lot of binds aren't particularly useful if you have a better version from ghost powers.

What TML said. You'll basically skip pretty much any vestige whose main attractive is immunity to something, since you'd already be immune to a crapton of stuff as a ghost anyway.
Gendou Ikari is basically Gregory House in Kaminashades. This is FACT.

Does binding even require a physical body?  I would think an Unbodied Binder could be an interesting character.
I am constantly amazed by how many DM's ban Tomb of Battle.  The book doesn't even exist!
