Ghost Savage Progression + Gestalt + ??? = Profit!

Trying to put together a bad ass telekinesis build...

gestalt, all official sources allowed

Ghost 4, X16 // X20       would like to see some master of the unseen hand in there somewhere...

maybe I'll just take Binder stuff on the other side and leave a trail of summoned monsters wherever I go...

but what to keep me entertained in the low levels?

If I were to take full casting on the second side, would divine or arcane be better?

4 levels of MotUH are best; the 5th level's ability is useless. Maybe some Factotum for Cunning Surge? I dunno.. I tried to make some (non-gestalt, mind you) build w/ ghost's TK and I failed at finding useful class levels, barring random things like Paladin 2 or Battle Dancer 1 for Cha sinergy.. Maybe Knowledge Devotion, Sneak Attack/Skirmish, or w/e. Uninspired much lately I am.

Well you could always take Pixie on the other side and make a killer Hood, who becomes a god with Illithid Savant.

Take levels in binder, the abilities you get from it generally have great synergy with being a ghost. The other side should be a sort of mish mash of classes to get other abiltiies you want, like levels of rogue to get skills and sneak attack. Be sure to pick up the ghostly grasp feat from librus mortus.

I'm a particular fan of Disciple of the Eye when I have spare lvls in a Cha build, dragonblood might be troublesome to get.

What are you trying to focus on?

The savage progression can make you one hell of a melee monster, what with adding str to ability score damage.  

While being invincible to 95% of encounters at low levels is certainly powerful, it isn't always entertaining.  You might want to consider being a ghost planeshifted to the material.

There's also the option of seeing if you can substitute equivalent alternative ghost abilities for the lesser/greater powers. 

Under those conditions, getting a loadout of three "lesser" abilities, like Telekinesis/Water Elemental Manifestation/Major Image might not be that bad an idea.

Well the character is for a solo campaign that might not even happen now, so power level isn't a problem, I wouldn't even suggest a ghost for a normal party.

It will go from 1 - X (probably lvl 10-15ish but with more challenging encounters in a mostly e6 world)

I guess I could take dread necromancer8, tainted scholar/ / binder

Otherworldy feat,
Take an item familliar and try to buy off some ghost LA... and use improved binding to keep the EBL at a relevant level

I would go binder, but consider these dips  ;)

Telekinesis makes Str combat maneuvers (trip, disarm, etc) work off Cha
1 Level of Marshal Cha to combat maneuvers (trip, disarm, etc)
3 Levels of Factotum gives you Int to combat maneuvers
2 Levels of Barbarian.  1st level allows you to take Wolf Berserker (UE) which is a regional feat but you can't take at any level not just 1st.  Wolf Berserker gives you a +4 to Trip.  Barbarian 2 Wolf Totem subsitution (UA lose uncanny dodge and trapsense) gives you Improved Trip which is another +4 to Trip.
Armbands of Might is another +2
Living Chain is another +2
Sweeping is another +2
Stone of Good Luck +1
Helm of Battle +2

Thus
Cha+Cha+Int+4 Wolf Berserker+4 Improved Trip+2 Armbands of Might+2 Living Chain+2 Sweeping+1 Stone of Good Luck+2 Helm of Battle
=Cha+Cha+Int+17

And this is before size modifiers.  Size modifiers are really easy to get due to malevolence.  Let me possess you mister hydra (huge size +8), let me possess you mister roc (gargantuan +12)

right, human heritage, didn't realize it replaces Tomb tainted soul, nice!
    I was thinking of outsider HD for some reason :rollseyes

I think I'll go with telekinesis and Malevolence for ghost powers, and I'm looking into adapting Prc Paladin to Prc Paladin of Tyranny  :D
EDIT: that would be MAD!
