BG on TVTropes
« on: June 16, 2011, 03:14:50 PM »
It isn't, which is sad. There are a few mentions of it, but no links.
Who wants to start a page?

(I guess this is the right section...)

EDIT:
Could you edit in the link into the first post, so I don't have to go dig for it every time I see a new post in this thread? :P
Yes.

My work
The tier system in a nutshell:
Tier 6: A cartographer.
Tier 5: An expert cartographer or a decent marksman.
Tier 4: An expert marksman.
Tier 3: An expert marksman, cartographer and chef who can tie strong knots and is trained in hostage negotiation or a marksman so good he can shoot down every bullet fired by a minigun while armed with a rusted single-shot pistol that veers to the left.
Tier 2: Someone with teleportation, mind control, time manipulation, intangibility, the ability to turn into an exact duplicate of anything, or the ability to see into the future with perfect accuracy.
Tier 1: Someone with teleportation, mind control, time manipulation, intangibility, the ability to turn into an exact duplicate of anything and the ability to see into the future with perfect accuracy.
Most of those mentions are because of me, BTW.

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF>

Shouldn't have said anything. Besides, I don't listen to the podcast enough to give an idea of what the Gameologists are like.

That's actually how they reference forums (even GiantITP is mentioned as an Image Board, but most people pothole it to OOTS). I was just following the examples.

Damn.  And here I was expecting the OP to contain a link.  I can't really see this being that big of a page at this point.

Why are so many posts on the board the equivalent of " Dear Dr. Crotch, I keep punching myself in the crotch, and my groin hurts... what should I do? How can I make my groin stop hurting?"

Maybe we could ask Meg what she would like Sinfire to say?

Or we could just leave the board out of that site and retain a modicum of dignity?

The op is a cocktease, because as soon as this page was loading I had a tab open to tvtropes ready to search. And I would just assume Tshern was joshing us. Or rather Tsherning.

There, Tsherning. Define it adequately, and we've got our first subtrope.

Well the podcast would be the primary focus of the page, obviously.

Tshern, we're posting on a forum that belongs to a website about gaming podcasts. Mostly for tabletop games (especially DnD).

The only dignity we have left to claim is whatever's on BLYHT, and that isn't exactly dignified...

Make it a page where the only link is to this site and declare it the "the place at the end of TVTropes."
It always seems like the barrels around here have something in them.

Make it a page where the only link is to this site and declare it the "the place at the end of TVTropes."

But then someone will make a Trope called an EndTrope with the definition is "any Trope that has no non-identical Tropes associated with it is an EndTrope."

However, upon becoming an EndTrope it loses its status as an EndTrope, then gains it again, then loses it again. The fact is, Endtropes can exist if and only if the concept of an Endtrope does not exist, which proves that a well designed concept can prevent something real from ever existing...

...I think I broke a part of reality.

Now let's figure out how to optimize this...
