I'm playing a character in a PbP game right now, and we're leveling faster than I had anticipated. As such, I'm not quite sure what I want to do with my next level, and I worry that we may be hitting it in the next few combats.
The concept is that he's a bestial, natural attack (particularly claw) specialist dragoon (pulling a bit from Endarire's Hood), with a penchant for chowing down on souls.
The build so far has a thri-kreen base (non-psionic Shining South variety, so LA+1 that has been bought off). Monstrous Humanoid 2 / Lion Totem Barbarian 1 / Totemist 2 / x 1 / Soul Eater 1. The x is the level I'm about to take, and I'm not quite sure what to put there, but more on that later.
For Feats, I was allowed four flaws (which, of course, I took), so right now I have Weapon Focus (Claw), Multiattack, Power Attack, Alertness, Battle Jump, Leap of the Heavens, and Deflect Arrows (a racial bonus). With these, I'm all set up for Soul Eater entry, just as soon as the campaign invites me in.
Attributes are Str 18, Dex 18, Con 14, Int 12, Wis 14, Cha 6.
The question is 'where do I go from here?' For my next level I just need something that will give me one more BAB for Soul Eater pre-reqs. Totemist would qualify, but I'm not sure that continuing along with the class would be the best idea. Warblade struck me as a rather strong option, and specializing in Tiger Claw would be thematically in line with the character as well. If I went this route, would a couple of levels in Bloodclaw Master (for reduced secondary attack penalties and full strength bonus on any secondary claw attacks) be worth it?
Another big issue is just how far into Soul Eater I want to go. Even just a 1 level dip is great, but the other obvious break points I see are (IIRC) 7 for 2 negative levels on each attack, and 9 for the wight farming.
I would welcome and appreciate any and all advice on this build, whether its on where I should take him in the future, or how I could have built him more effectively in the past.
