Mind Switch the Tarrasque
« on: July 21, 2008, 12:49:11 AM »
I'm looking for the thread on how to do it since we are planning on that being the end fight for our campaign.  I have searched the Wizards boards but it appears to have been archived and all of the archives are damaged or gone.  Does anyone have a copy of it that they can post over here.

Thanks for any help that can be given.

I think it went something like

  • Find a Tarrasque.
  • Dominate it.
  • Cast Polymorph until it fails its save.
  • Spam negative levels on it.
  • Put your self in a cage.
  • Mind swap.
  • ???
  • Profit!

I just googled "Tleilaxu_Ghola and Barrel of Monkeys".
While the correct links come up, they all lead to the white death of nothing. Ouch.

The Towns people cry: SHANE (tleilaxu_ghola)
Come Back "Shane" ...  :(

Some of the great old threads are in that limbo like LoP's Omnificer , Obeah's Races , almost the entire T.O. board.
Boo.

Yeah I noticed that too.

I wonder why it is a white page instead of some VB message about its missing or even a time out message from firefox.

I knew the general case of it. I just want to be able to show my players exactly how it is done after they fight this monstrosity so they don't feel like i just created something to kill them with.

I too had searched on the wizards site and got nothing but the blank white screen, but that was for every link to an archived thread that i hit.  So that is why i was suspecting that they screwed up and lost all the archives.

When I first saw this, I read it as "Mind Rape the Tarrasque"....
[spoiler]
A couple of water benders, a dike, a flaming arrow, and a few barrels of blasting jelly?

Sounds like the makings of a gay porn film.
...thanks

Hmm.... that might even be more fun. He could be your big stupid pet that follows you around. You could name him "Fluffy".

huh, so ... "cache" was the catch. OK.

 :D
What sound does a pig make?

Pig + Mindswitch with CO-Bard = U2's Bono
{ ... and only for the length of a video ... }
{ ... I think The Simpsons had an episode that , blah blah blah ... }

I wasn't insulting them. I was making an obtuse observation.

You just compared a pig's intellect to Bono's. That is so totally an insult to the pig :P

No. A pig, if given the choice between clear water and mud, will choose clear water. Bono, on the other hand...
