Here you will find all you need to create a Monk.
For the OP: I'd second solara's idea to go divine caster, in particular considering the setting and group (and your items besides). Turn undead may also come in handy.

I'm surprised no one mentioned Archivist vet.  Cloistered, trained, monkish, except not sucking in that monk way.  Fills the divine caster role in the party.

Any ways aside from those feats?  My Plan is to take those two feats and use them to fixate based on the day. The smite is great because I use the PBII Monk thing with Decisive strike+Stun+Smite and end them with a snap kick.  My class grants some cool stuff based off my smiting and stunning in the same blow and I have Mighty Smiting on my Necklace of Natural Attack-like item.  (DM let me have them as gauntlets with the same ability)  To add insult to injury, I also have two Improved Natural attack feats and pain touch.  A mighty punch of doom at the moment twice per day.  I got to use it in my last session and I nearly cried; it was my first attack of this whole goddamn game and I crit-hit. Two natural 20's.  The orc i was fighting died the moment I hit him.  I used my free snap kick to push him off my fist.  A heart seeking amulet made this a hit even if I rolled a two.  I am  Monk2/Paladin4/ArgentFist2.  I plan on my next level being another in paladin for another smite and a mount.  But my next feat?

Either   Ring the golden bel l, Sapphire smite , or Sapphire Fist You can find them and the feat paintouch at

If your plan is to take the Sapphire Fist or Sapphire Smite feats, those each give you 1 essentia. They give you the essentia to power themselves.
If I say something about real world physics, and someone disagrees, assume I am right 90% of the time. This number goes up to 100% if I am late night posting - trust me, my star dust sibs.

There are a lot of items in the MIC that give you essentia.

Essentia helm, for one.

I dare anyone to find a hole in that logic.

Essentia helms may interact strangely with Incarnum feats.  The Helm only maxes something out for one round, but essentia stays stuck in the feat for 24 hours.

Not really broken... most Incarnum feats are underwhelming.  Best one to do it with is probably Midnight Metamagic, but even then it's just a bit more interesting than Metamagic School Focus, and only at higher levels.

Psycarnum Infusion is a feat that also maxes out an incarnum receptacle. This is really nice, as you can use it multiple times per day by expending your psionic focus. I use it with Midnight Augmentation for really nice effects, since you can expend your psionic focus to decrease your pp costs and effectively increase your augmentation abilities without increasing your pp expenditure.

CPs is a out book for most of us.  I am gonna try for the helm.  My 20 level build will be 2monk/4paladin/2agrentfist/1paladin/8argentfist/3 human paragon.

next three feats are the Sapphire Fist, Sapphire Smite, Ring The Golden Bell.
