No, no. Grandbow. It's supposed to be d12. The greatbow's only d10.

There is no "Grandbow" or similar in any official WotC 3.5 or 3.0 product.  However, a Large Greatbow can be wielded by someone with Lesser Strongarm Bracers of Archery without a feat, so there's that.

Really? That makes me question what I found on EN World then.

I believe there is a Grand Bow which kicks it up to a d12. And the Grandcrossbow does I think 2d8.

Great and Grand Weapons. Making ranged characters way to damn powerful since whenever they were first printed.

Could someone link me to that thread where that wonderful person laid out the various ToB maneuvers that worked with ranged attacks? I'm planning to build a Warblade Archer.

Q #222:  You are playing a spontaneous arcane caster with spells level 1-9 and you have turn undead.  You are completely out of spells and turning attempts so you raise your casting mod by 4 with effects to get 1 extra spell per level and 4 turn attempts.  If you blow through all those, lose the bonus, what happens if you then get the bonus back?  Are the spell slots and turning attempts spent?

I have been assuming they are to prevent a caster from taking a peice of equipment on and off again.

I only see a way to get them as mounts, fiendish servants, familiars, or cohorts.

Both pre and post epic, you are limited to animals, magical beats, and vermin (maybe elemental)

The ways to get a dragon buddy are as above, plus a couple more like thralls, dominating, rebuke/command, etc.

You might be able to do some mount/companion/familiar shenanigans to pull it off.

the turn attempts are spent. There was either a sage or FAQ entry for that.

You don't get extra spells unless the stat  boost is present during the daily preparing of the slots. Either way it would get spent last since you count how many you have used, not whether a particular slot has been granted. There's no phantom slots.

They don't/haven't, was the point. 3.5 is as dead as people not liking nice tits.

Sometimes, their tits (3.5) get enhancements (houserules), but that doesn't mean people don't like nice tits.

Though sometimes, the surgeon (DM) botches them pretty bad...

A223: Devoted tracker? If 'counts as animal companion' is good enough for you then search my reigning supermount world record. It's in my build compendium as well.

Q 217:  What ways are there to get an additional pool of turning attempts?  There's the 'turn dragons' ACF from Dragonsomething and then you take a prestige class that grants regular turning trick, I know that one, and does taking the Fire domain and getting the ability to rebuke or turn fire elementals give you another pool of turning attempts, or does it just use your existing pool?  If it doesn't, what other ways are there to get more pools of turning?
A217: I have the (known) record on turn/rebuking pools in my build compendium (spoilered in the CoDzilla section). Dips into base classes, certain ACFs and a few other tricks can get you more pools than you would ever need. Combing with extra turning and cha for more DMM than you can shake a stick at.

Q 226 Where can I find Ema's spell sheets? I've searched and searched, and managed to find the adept, archivist, assassin, bard, beguiler, cleric (luck/travel, death/destruction, renewal/sun, warforged/fire), cleric, druid, duskblade, warmage (clean), and wizard/sorcerer lists. I'm still needing the ranger and paladin ones. I've found an ultimate 3.5 character sheet, but there's no SpC or PHB2 spells listed on there.

And yes, I know about the cease and desist that he got from WotC, and why his site's no longer there.
