Q55: What exactly are the benefits of an attack counting as a force effect?

Force effects affect incorporeal creatures normally, and force damage is almost impossible to resist....

Gets past all DR, and you don't have to worry about a % miss chance.

Q52

Anybody got an archived version of the Pimp Thy Ride thread from 339? Link in the Handy Links thread is, naturally, dead, and I'm looking for some tips on what stuff to give a mount (as opposed to the creature riding it). It's not a special mount, just a creature that's been paid for (thrum worms for some low-level NPCs).
Here.
There's also a couple of url's in the thread -- you'll just have to copy-paste them in to the wayback header at the top of the page.
I can't open the link. Norton's is saying it's a malicious link, and blocked it.
I reject your reality, and substitute my own.

A 55: Affecting incorporeal creatures, ignoring damage reduction, ignoring (almost) all immunities, full damage (I think) to objects/structures, to name a few.

Q 56: Other than false life, heart of earth and divine power, what standouts exist for a caster to gain temporary hit points, akin to a manifestation of vigor?  Also, does arcane or divine magic have a way of duplicating share pain?

Disable norton, then open it. Norton is worthless, btw.

It's to the Wayback Machine, there's nothing malicious on that site.

Q 22 Speaking of the rainbow servant, is there an actual adventure or module that can be used to find the hidden jungle temple of the couatls?
If there is no answer to this, is there an adventure that's close enough that it could be manipulated enough to fit such a campaign?

Q 58 Is there a spell, or curse, or something that allows you to rapidly age someone against their will? Multiple examples would be great.

Cool. I've got some reading to do. The only alternate ones I'd found so far were in Dragon 348.

A 22: Is it really necessary to have an adventure for that? Isn't that easy enough to create yourself?
I do think that there's at least a relevant location in Secrets of Sarlona from Eberron, detailing a Yuan-ti temple. (Some of them are aligned with the couatls in Eberron.)

More or less just looking for the easy way out. I don't design things very coherently, unfortunately. Having a base module and changing it up is usually easier for me to do.

Secrets of Sarlona should be a decent place to start. I know there's at least one jungle ziggurat in there, plus an ancient abandoned city.
It's all about vision and making reality conform to your vision. By dropping a fucking house on it.

I can certainly sympathize -- I've been trying to envision some grand adventure involving having to be "cleansed" in the Court of Light (sor some-such) for quite some time, and nothing seems to "click" for me.

Yeah, if I come up with a campaign that's completely from scratch, I got damn lucky with the "clicking".

A56b: Shield Other is a core Cleric spells that duplicates share pain to direct someone else's injuries onto you.  Imbue with Spell Ability is a core Cleric spell that'll let someone else cast your cleric spells, and if the subject has 5+HD, Share Pain will fit inside it.

Q 37 How could a psion (shaper, preferrably) manage to gain the 9th lvl discipline powers of the other disciplines pre-epic, without having to rely on thrallherd or leadership?

Asking this question attempt #2.

A 37: I've seen arguments that independent power research can do it, but that would require DM cooperation.  Sangehirn, one of the Mind's Eye PrCs, has its own unique power list but adds those powers to your base class's repertoire.  It loses one ML at level 1, but any other level as your 17th+ ML could get you Psychic Chirurgery, so that's one indisputable WotC-approved way of getting one level 9 off-Discipline power so long as the class is allowed.  After that you can go hunting down NPC Psions of other Disciplines and trade powers, but that also requires DM cooperation.

Q57Is Harm a good Spell? Why/why not?
What about if Dweomerkeeper had it's Supernatural spell ability and Harm ignored spell resistance?
