If push comes to shove, I can always play John, though I'll play him with less risk than I would my own character. And of course I couldn't make long-term decisions like further levelling, unless retraining in June would be allowed for John.

My concern becomes if Amechra comes back in June, or if he takes more time off instead, what if the character has developed in such a way it not longer feels "his", know what I mean? A disconnect, as it were.

That is one of my main concerns too, which is why I dislike RP other people's characters, even more so if they plan to come back.

You all seem in agreement on the single person playing him though, so just figure who it will be.

Same here. I don't really like playing other people's chars (or pregenerated chars for that matter); I just have trouble connecting to a char I didn't make, but if you guys don't have the time to do it(or something like that) I can do it no problem.
