Specific Recharge times + metamagic special rules = probably not a good idea.
Lengthening the recharge time, can put that off, to longer than non-recharge daily picks.

Imbue With Spell has a tag to it, an obvious caveat.
But it does work as a get-out-of-jail extra use of lower level spell,
so long as the someone else uses the spell soon.

Enchants are kinda screwed. I understand their charm-o-rama suspicion.
Still, it's quite a relative nerf. Worth ditching the School if specialist Wiz.

Dragon Magic has some pretty good stuff that makes Recharge Magic all the more fun...

Arcane Spellsurge for double casting all day?  don't mind if i do.

Draconic Vigor for hp regen.

Several spells that have extra benefits for sacrificing spell slots (which i would think would be the same as casting the spell and having to wait the general recharge time before using that spell level again).



one of my players is looking into trying the spellthief, so i'm trying to sort out the mechanics of how his spell stealing ability would affect the targets.
