Hiya Folks,
I was hoping to get some help with a Swift Avenger (Dragon 357) build. I am not trying for something that can destroy worlds, however. I would like something that can deal respectable damage and is an asset to the group. This character's role would be that of the trapfinder (also skillmonkey to a lesser degree) and his main schtick is pouncing attacks while shifted (using a claw/claw/bite attack routine). I know that going shifter is not the most optimal approach but I rather like the idea of a scout/druid shifter. I will be taking the beast spirit and wild shifting racial substitution levels. Here is the build that I have so far ...
race: shifter (razorclaw)
brb 1[lion totem]/scout 1/drd 18[beast spirit/wild shifting]
bab: 14
cl: 18 (20)
saves: 13/10/11
hd: 1d12+19d8
feats
terrain specialist[forest] [flaw]
extra shifter trait[longtooth]
shifter multi-attack
improved skirmish
shifter instincts
practiced caster
swift avenger
lightning ref
extra rage
track
Just in case:
- all books allowed(with DM approval)
- 10 level based feats instead of 7
- must complete a prestige class before taking another
- no multi-classing XP penalties
Assumptions:
- starting level will be 4th or 6th
- I will be purchasing a fanged ring
- I will be purchasing several hair braids of direshifting
So, are there any ways in which I can improve this character? His natural attacks should be claws (2d6) and bite (3d6) or 3d6 and 4d6 respectively when he uses a direshifting braid. Also, is there a simple way of taking rapidstrike and improved rapidstrike? Any and all comments/suggestions are welcome!
Cheers
Volf
Edit: Crap ... does fanged rings increase a natural weapon attack damage dice?
