I felt the urge to do this, sorry.
Basically, it is Epic Spellcasting combined with Psionics in a way that doesn't actually cause death. How? Alright, you have a certain number of seeds known; each will cost some base amount of points, taken out of a small pool (maybe level+casting stat modifier) of points that will refresh often (say, 1 point each round you don't use a spell). You can use up to a certain amount of points, depending on your level.
-You have a certain number of 'known spells', which are limited to a number of points equal to 3/4 of your total level, but only cost 1/2 the normal amount of points, rounded up. So at 20th level, you can use use a 'known spell' of up to 15 points, and it would only cost you 8 points; you can only use known seeds in this casting.
-You can cast spells 'spontaneously', building them on the spot; in this case, they are limited to an amount of points equal to your level, and have no limits on what seeds they can use. However, they cost a lot more than a 'known spell', but if you need to pull off a nonstandard trick, they are the way to go.
-You can apply the different modifications from the epic spell rules, except Permanent is Days/Level.
So, does this seem at all feasible, if the wording of the different Epic Seeds is cleaned up, and no mitigation is allowed?
