Spell hunt

I'm looking for a few spells I've seen in some book, but cannot find.

One spell you could disembody your own hand and attack with it. You took a minor amount of damage, but healed it when you got the hand back (to both your current and max hp.)

another spell was basically a force choke that took 3 rounds to preform.

And the other is from PHB2 - Crushing Grip.
Read, every day, something no one else is reading. Think, every day, something no one else is thinking. Do, every day, something no one else would be silly enough to do. It is bad for the mind to be always part of unanimity.

The first one also sounds like a warlock invocation from Complete Mage. It has a partner invocation that lets your eye crawl out of its socket as well.

Yeah the warlock disembodied hand is in complete mage. I knew though I saw a spell version of it.

I wonder if there is a spell version of the eyeball thing. Cause that also sounds cool. Or if there was a way to get a fake eye that I can use it with.

What would you take as a first level spell if you are a focused necromancer, have 9 spells to choose from and are focused in causing fort saves the most. Barred schools are evocation, illusion and enchantment.

clutch of orcus is probably what you're looking for when you say force choke.

Nah, I think that rips out the target's heart. Force choke is probably more akin to a Phantasmal Strangler.

i'd like to think that ripping out the guy's heart is more of a bonus.
