Willing Deformity: Tall (from Heroes of Horror) and Inhuman Reach (from Lords of Madness) both expand the reach of a character. It does not make you larger, per se, but usually when my players are looking to bulk up, reach is one of their primary concerns.

Plus, it could be combined with some of the usual options for enlargement for a truly terrifying threatened area.

I'll be updating the first post soon with all these wonderful suggestions, as soon as I recover my own list to add.

3.0e had sizes above Colossal ; as in Colossal+ , and Colossal++ , etc ...

Technically, you can't do the Epic/SRD Dragons without it.
Kind of a back door way , around 3.5e getting rid of sizes "capping" at Colossal.

And hello PAO !!

How is it that everybody always posts the Half-Minotaur template without also noting that there's a Half-Ogre template on the very next page that does mostly the same thing? Or at least, for the purposes of this thread, the exact same thing: size growth.

D&D Wiki has the Giantism(sic) Trait. You are basically a +1 Size Category version of yourself, with no ability modifications(beyond losing 2 Dex).

Thrall of Kotschchie is definitely good.

The problem with Deformity: Tall is that the moment you actually change size categories, you lose the benefit of the Feat... Kind of stupid. House-rule the pre-requisite as "Size: Medium or larger."

Inhuman Reach+Deepspawn+Extended Reach is a little steep Featwise, but if you're a Medium creature to start with, you're rocking 15 feet of Reach. 30 with a Spiked Chain. That's a diamond("circle") 7 tiles wide on a side. Be a Half-Illithid to start, finish Illithid Bodytamer(aka Illithid Lasher), grab Tentacle Extension items, and suddenly, you can suck brains from further than the Olympic Long Jump record.

Half-Ogre is forgetable because Half-Minotuar does everything it does and more.

I know this is the Min/Max sub-forum, but for other cases and places, considering what you just said, you'd think Half-Ogre would be a better recommendation, if for no other reason than that the DM would be more likely to allow it. Just a little something that bugs me.
