The Short story:
"As you passed by the still-quiet Blue Heron Inn, you overheard a dreadful tale. Someone has reason to believe that Martin Zanzriu, the Black Pirate responsible for the destruction of the former capital twenty years ago, has been leading his ship back to Yafutoma. What he aims to do then is unknown, but the damage wrought by his Living Island matched the power of the still-grounded Gigas Bluheim.

For the rest of the morning, you've been chasing after the ones who spoke of this, a Goliath who towed a cannon behind him like it was a puppy, and a Warforged armed with a glaive. Their trail has lead you to Mount Kazai's summit, perhaps they intend to explore the caverns that riddle it in order to find shelter from the Living Island? No, that doesn't seem right. As armed as they are, it seems more likely that they intend to fight Zanzriu themselves.

Two others were with you when you overheard their conversation. Those two seem as panicked as you are about this situation."
Do I know these other 2 people? Otherwise I introduce myself:
I am Kiba, a young Human from the Djakla Clan. As you can see my body is not that of a normal human: When I was 16 years old, I was out hunting in the forests when I encountered a brown bear. It was clearly not happy with my presence, so I tried to kill it. But instead of killing it, I merely wounded it and it came running after me. I tried to escaped its large claws, but near the coast the Bear bit a huge part out of my back. It left me there for dead, but luckily a tiny fey came along and saw my suffering. It was willing to sacrifice its freedom to cover the hole in my back with its body and merged its body with mine. Since then I have the best of both Fey and Human inside of me and am dedicated to spread the beauty and power of Mother Nature herself! Now that this is out of te way, what are your names and what brings you to this place?"

This is the OOC thread, not the IC one. I'm awaiting Aftercrescent to make the sub-forum for Skies before we start the IC thread.

Then I will repost this in the other thread, once it is up:

On a different note: are my summons too powerful? I don't really know what the other players are, but with all the summon-enhancing feats I got I might outshine a party and thus will have to nerf my summons a bit...

Ouch. The bear may be a house at this level. Thank god for flying enemies every now and again!

Sub-Forum should be coming along soon. :D  Also, just a heads up that this thread will be moved into the sub-forum so SiFir will have mod control over it as well. :D

For the summons: we can test the current ones for the first fight.
I suspect getting either (Augment Summoning + Ashbound) or Greenbound Summoning will make for a more level field. Summons are actually fairly competitive at this level (given that you have Rapid Summoning and Extend Summoning, that is), so you can complete your feats later on when they lose steam comparatively.

hmm... I think it will get quite complicated if we dont know eachother before that point, concerning mistrust and prejudice things...

Or do you disagree? otherwise I will copy my second post to the ingame thread and act accordingly.

So basically we are going to invade the Living Island or whatever its called, kill the guy and disable the cannon and crash the ship?

Where the lake inside the volcano fits in has me confused though...

The party was heading there to get stronger.

And get some money I think. It was kind of a cop out because only 2 people were posting by that time and we had 1 in-game week to fill.

Also, we are agreed we know each other (well, Lochlyn hasn't posted but that's his loss).

He lives in France. He normally posts when I'm asleep (which is 5 AM for me). And I live in Florida, so if you need to check the time zones, use that as your measuring stick.

Oh, I know that. He's probably out partying or he left for the week-end since this Monday was a holiday (Bastille Day, the Americans call it).
