Is it the starting level? Setting? Or just the illness?

iv had my large intestine in my hand since about 4 am (its now 7pm)

starting level isnt an issue for me, i have not remotely begun to build yet, since the rules are still in flux.

im not sure we actually need a rule set to agree on, it is silly after all.

Your servant could be a butler, trained in the martial arts. >_> <_<
Or you could have a harem following chasing you around.

well you could take leadership later on and make the servant a swordsage useing martial manuvers / stances as for the Harem I was thinking the same thing with a thrall heard and till i can make a small Amazon Brigade or give my self the title of Colonel Badass you know i found a nice deck plains for a Ebron Air ship (I can send the link) and if we can get the chance to steal it I am in favor of it.

But if we go that way, there is a good chance we'll be copying Death of an Artist...

Not that I have a problem with that...
Fighter: "I can kill a guy in one turn."
Cleric: "I can kill a guy in half a turn."
Wizard: "I can kill a guy before my turn."
Bard: "I can get three idiots to kill guys for me."

On a strange note, would anyone be put out if we had a post about people or events we can spare a thought for, or if its within their creed, a prayer for? Just a random thought, but ... hells I wouldn't have known about either Archangels daughter or Saeomons niece if I didn't happen to be on these threads.
Sounds fine to me.
probably over on "Off-topic".
might want to put a little disclaimer in the first post.

This is the Min/Max board. We should be able to figure out a way to optimize the POWER OF PRAYER(TM) that doesn't involve "Pazuzu, Pazuzu, Pazuzu".
My final project for my film independent study course. It could do with a watching and critiquing

well here is the link of the ship I have a moded version were I have added 2 decks for more weapons

http://www.dundjinni.com/forums/forum_posts.asp?TID=1350&KW=ship&TPN=1

it could or could not end up like Death of an artist. but there is also factors like the players our attitudes

I say we steal it!

And paint it tie-die, just because.

Thoughts on racial prerequisites on classes? (Rune Smith particularly...)

Mmh. Not sure. Adaptation is certainly possible. It might have setting implications as I quite like consistency.

Regarding playing cards as throwing weapons; if you're going to be a wizard, just reseach a spell which creates them. Playing cards as weapons without training? A bit odd. Magic playing cards? A-OK.

Yes, it's a double standard.
I would like to hear more if you have wishes regarding the setting.

I will have martial weapon proficiency, its not like I will have no training at all in throwing stuff....

To be honest using playing cards as improvised weapons is already supported but you get a -4 nonproficiency penalty... That said you are supposed to compare relative size and damage potential to the pre existing weapons, Shuriken are about the right size but would obviously hurt more (and they deal 1d2 damage) so playing cards would probably deal less than 1 damage (but it rounds up to 1 anyway).

As far as adaptation goes, I generally just remove racial prereqs for being a stupid idea when I'm DMing. Though your game your rules obviously.

Build, Providing rune smith is ok and i dont find another 3/4 BaB class with casting to take over from spellwarp sniper (because at the minute I have to use 2 feats to get sneak attack) :
1.  Wizard 1/Fighter 1
2.  Human Paragon 1
3.  Wizard 2
4.  Human Paragon 2
5.  Wizard 3
6.  Runesmith 1
7.  Spellwarp Sniper 1
8.  Arcane Archer 1
9.  Arcane Archer 2
10. Arcane Archer 3
11. Arcane Archer 4
12. Arcane Archer 5
13. Arcane Archer 6
14. Arcane Archer 7
15. Arcane Archer 8
16. Arcane Archer 9
17. Arcane Archer 10
18. Abjurant Champion 1
19. Abjurant Champion 2
20. Abjurant Champion 3
or be a wizard or a Artificer  and put exploding runes on the cards that way the exploding rune is doing the damage not the card.

Well that is the idea, I don't mind if I only do 1 damage a card. I can put smiting spells on them or arcane strikes to boost the damage.

"The default mascot of the party and usually the most outlandish of the bunch. Can be a robot, magic animal, or in a more realistic setting, a little girl much younger than everyone else. " sort of sounds like if i looked at the character sheet right in Mentally  a 6 year old  :P
