Hooray for getting a zero on a Move Silent roll!  Chuck is a damn walking encounter generator.

Hope you don't mind my improv, Ragin'.  I was thinking of what could make a large amount of noise in a small amount of time and the walkie came to mind.  Snapping a twig (Han Solo style) seemed overused and unlikely in an urban setting.

We have a Barbarian in our D&D game that rolls negatives often for Listen and Spot rolls.  He's surprised by a lot, but once he gets going he's a beast.

On the note of making things easy, you may notice that I now have 2 invisible castle accounts Pimpforged and Pimpforged01. For some reason I can't log on to the one I created at work from my home computer and vice versa, so it looks like I'm gonna have to swap between the two depending on where I am.

Thank you. As long as you put in the notes the rolls are for this campaign, since you're probably playing multiple games online, then I can check either account for credibility. Not that I often do. I trust you guys to roll fair and I know you have so far....lol

Yeah, I just wanted to let you know so that you wouldn't think I was trying to cheat.

Also, I've been talking in orange, not gold. I don't really care, but I think the orange is easier to read.

Also, note to self:
We need to get some radios with headsets, or some other way to quietly communicate over a distance, because screaming back and forth at each other like we are right now...

Brock yelled back behind him to Builder. "We got some bodies here. Look dead. I mean, dead dead"
Chuck leaps straight up waving his arms to attract attention, yelling loudly: "STOP!  GET AWAY FROM THE TRUCK!"

Is gonna get somebody, maybe all of us, but probably just me because I'm lucky like that, killed at some point.

OH MY GOD. Best rolls ever.
Now watch, he won't even be around.

But yeah, Pimped. I agree. We'll have to bust up a Radio Shack lol.

Chuck's got a walkie that he inconveniently leaves on...

There's also a police station nearby the first group of survivors.  There's likely to be walkies there.

And police, with guns, pointed at us... :P

Good thing in your post Nate you never actually said you started the truck or began driving. You would have certainly died and most likely killed the others too.

Also, please help me out and remember to mark off your ammo for each shot fired. If your clip runs out of ammo you must reload it, if you run out of ammo for the gun you could be fucked.

From the bar fight:
The other infected screech and begin to move forward, then they suddenly stop. They stand stock still, their face's expressionless. As the party begins to become confused by the change of nature they slowly notice a low clicking noise coming from somewhere outside. The infected are appearing to listen to it. As the clicking noise gets more rapid and loud the other infected suddenly dart out the door and run into the night at a full sprint, running with something that looks close to panic.

Is this the same clicking sound Chuck hears now?

*Ahem*...yes.   :D

I re-downloaded d20 Gun Locker, (you probably noticed all the cool info about the gun Builder recovered), so I'm going to have lots of new and exciting weapons and the info about them as well. I also re-downloaded d20 Apocalypse and am going to re-read it for some fun stuff, the book was the reason I was inspired to create the Hunger and Fatigue Rule set that is found on the Game Notes board so maybe I'll come up with some more stuff to make the game more gritty. I thought about fear and loss of sanity but decided against it cause it'd be a bitch.

Few questions:

Is the recorder running? Digital or tape?
Were there any spare mags for the 9?
How much do I know about the Umbr... er... Parasol Corporation?  ;)

At least you guys have bigger guns now. If you retreat into the store, you also have a defensible location. You also know that it doesn't seem to like light (It fled from both the truck's headlights and the Molotov before). I know what I would do, but I'm not there and I try not to metagame too much.

<I don't see how he moves so quiet. Maybe I'll learn a thing or two from him, but for now> I'll hang back, just like last time. I'll come running if you yell.

This is my cue to roll a 1 on move silently.

Edit:
Close! If I'd rolled spot and listen first...

Digital. It appears to be in mint condition.

Damn it, I knew I forgot something. Yes you found two extra clips, you haven't checked the clip yet, but if you take the time to you will see there are four bullets in the clip.

You have heard of them before but don't know much about them. They are giant company that deals with genetics or something.
