So I'm currently playing through The Shackled City campaign and have just reached 17 level.
I'm playing a Grey Elf - FS Conjurar 4 / Sorcerer 1 / Ultimate Magus 10 / FS Conjurar +1(5) / Master Specialist 1
Baned Schools: Enchantment, Necromancy and Illusion (Yeah I banned Illusion.. was stupid in retrospect, but I've done fine without honestly)
Feats are as follows (IIRC):
1st - Spell Focus (Conjuration)
3rd - Praticed Spellcaster (Sorcerer)
6th - Sculpt Spell
9th - Diversified Casting (Illusion) (Invisibility, Displacement, Greater Invisibility (took mirror image as a sorcerer spell..))
10th (Bonus) - Empower Spell
12th - Easy Metamagic (Sculpt Spell)
12th (Campaign) - Deathfrost Spell (I think it's called.. doesn't matter, it's useless)
14th (Bonus) - Quicken Spell
15th - xxx
16th (Bonus) - xxx
CL 19 Wizard / 17 Sorcerer
Our DM thinks the whole 'spontaneous levelling in the middle of dungeons' is stupid, so we only level during downtime. So, after a looong and arduous dungeon-crawl I gained enough XP to level 3 whole levels which also netted me 2 feats. I'm having some trouble deciding on which feats I should take, but I recently stumbled on a feat from a Dragon Magazine called Theurgic Specialist which basically combines caster levels for all your casting classes when casting spells from your specialist school (doesn't matter if it's from your Wizard list or from another list as long as it's the specialist school). That would basically make my conjuration spells caster level 36, which I wouldn't mind at all, especially because all my summoning spells have a habit of getting dispelled almost instantaneously. This would make my summoning spells almost undispellable at this level, so I was thinking my second feat could be Augment Summoning. This would go nicely with both Theurgic Specialist AND Master Specialist 4, which I'm aiming for.
Would they be a good choices and am I reading Theurgic Specialist right? It's from Dragon Magazine #325 page 62.
