Should have kept fool mouth shut...

Must remember not to use hyperbole in front of a DM...

I'm boned, aren't I?
Fighter: "I can kill a guy in one turn."
Cleric: "I can kill a guy in half a turn."
Wizard: "I can kill a guy before my turn."
Bard: "I can get three idiots to kill guys for me."

On a strange note, would anyone be put out if we had a post about people or events we can spare a thought for, or if its within their creed, a prayer for? Just a random thought, but ... hells I wouldn't have known about either Archangels daughter or Saeomons niece if I didn't happen to be on these threads.
Sounds fine to me.
probably over on "Off-topic".
might want to put a little disclaimer in the first post.

This is the Min/Max board. We should be able to figure out a way to optimize the POWER OF PRAYER(TM) that doesn't involve "Pazuzu, Pazuzu, Pazuzu".
My final project for my film independent study course. It could do with a watching and critiquing

Can I get a warning, just this once?
I'm usually a lot less stupid. Please, another chance!
I'm not even sure if I'm joking right now.
Hurry. Everyone upstairs, come on! Eldon shouts as he motions Frodo upstairs, and then runs upstairs himself.
Where would you like to be?

Great, Klammer, now you upped the Amelia's chance of death by 200%. It's the unwritten law of the zombie apocalypse that named non-main characters (i.e. PCs) die freakin' often.

And we'll get emotionally attached...

Keep up the good work!
Linky.  ;)

I thought of that, but this is a zombie apocalypse game!

There is a reason only one character in Zombieland had a name, you know.

I suppose I'm technically in A1 on the secondfloor so I can fire down to the first floor, am I reading the maps correctly?

Sometimes, their tits (3.5) get enhancements (houserules), but that doesn't mean people don't like nice tits.

Though sometimes, the surgeon (DM) botches them pretty bad...

A1 2nd & C1 1st are the same space, yes.

The stairs of this building are consider gradual stairs, in case anyone was wondering. That means each space only costs one square of movement.

Would you care to change your casting of protection and go with a full movement and fire power?

No, because i'd end up trapping people besides smith down there. I'll just take my full movement for that move action and end up in A4 on the second floor then, leaving my at the landing.

Just a headsup team, on my turn, I'm burning the stairs. If they drop, I'm fivefoot stepping to A5 then shutting the door.

Edit: correction, John is still in A2 on my turn, so I'll Ready to burn when he passes me...

Please edit that in when you get a chance.

Changed your mind again, sticking with the casting again?

This is assuming everyone but Smith is up from below. If this isn't the case consider this a readied action for when it is the case.
Only John is in the way, after we get his movement, we can assume the stairs are on fire, and open for assault.

You might want to change the maps, just so it is a little less confusing.

Cleric: "I can kill a guy in half a turn."
Wizard: "I can kill a guy before my turn."
Bard: "I can get three idiots to kill guys for me."

So what's the plan after we get the door unblocked? Make a run for it and don't look back, or torch the whole building hopefully taking as many enemies with it as possible?

What do you guys think?

Systematically torch the building, and go via roof-top as far as we can to the city walls. We can pick up survivors if we find any along the way, otherwise we grab supplies when safe and high-tail it to the country. Let the authorities know as quickly as we can what's going on in the neighboring towns and cities, maybe the government as well.
