So my DM wants to try to revive our last Eberron game, which kinda died after some RL issues. The thing is that I kinda need to make a new character; for the interested there were some  intra-party conflicts and I would prefer to avoid them. The best way to do this seems to be bringing a new character to the table, and hey my last character had accomplished the goal I set for him at the start of the game.

So can anybody help me?

I am looking for suggestions (or even builds if you like) for an ECL game, all non-setting specific books (with the obvious exception of Eberron) are on the table.

The party if it remains the same is an Elan Kineticists/Anarchist Initiate, a Catfolk pyrokineticist a half elf ranger/cleric and a human swift hunter/dervish.

Thanks in advance

What was your last character, and do you have a preference for this one?
"You think I'm talking about breaking the rules?"
"No I'm just trying to figure out how far you want them bent."

a Shifter Rogue/ninja spy*/swordsage

*Oriental Adventures.

I don't have a preference; right now I just want something that will be useful most of the time, powerful enough to carry his weight with the party but no so strong that I overshadow the party. I usually play the skill monkey of the group too.

Phrenic (XPH) Spellscale (RoD) Warmage (CA) with LA buy-off (UA).

If you want to be a higher tier than warmage you could play a sorcerer instead.  +6 Cha and a bunch of nifty Psionic abilities.

Pixie Rogue/Scout

Flyby Attack + Invisible + Swift Ambusher + Improved Skirmish = Wacky Fun

You are always invisible as a pixie; Improved skirmish stack rouge and scout levels when determining skirmish damage.  As a pixie you can just go back and forth every round on things that are not able to detect you and do some serious skirmish/sneak attack damage.

I'm currently playing a Phrenic Elf Crusader 10/Eternal Blade 10  (Well I'm level 1 but that's the plan)

Okay I got another great idea.

Half-Ogre Artificer 5/Renegade Mastermaker 10Magic of Eberron/Warforged Juggernaut 5

 :)

Clearly my best idea yet.  You'd be the world's only large sized warforged that's not mindless.

You have to be humanoid to take Renegade Mastermaker.... So at 1st level you'd have to take Human Heritage (races of destiny) changing the half-ogre's type to humanoid.

Renegade Mastermaker changes your type to "living construct" at level 10.  Allowing you to qualify for Warforged Juggernaut.

Yay!

:facepalm I saw warforged on the build, and immediately assumed the race, didn't see this was a plain half-ogre (the races of Destiny is a race not a template right?)

How about a Rogue/Wizard/Unseen Seer? Here is a really tricked out build of mine using that, but you could certainly tone it down...
[spoiler]
A couple of water benders, a dike, a flaming arrow, and a few barrels of blasting jelly?

Sounds like the makings of a gay porn film.
...thanks

Yeah it's a race.  I'm just throwing out stuff.  Sometimes just hearing options will help you come up with one on your own.  Although imagine a half-ogre with a robo arm at ECL 10 level for a second.

Hmmm will consider an unseen seer, won't be using your build; but thanks for the suggestion anyway.

At this level, magic rocks the house.  How'zbout a Human (Focused) Conjurer5/Malconvoker5 akin to my COnjurer Summoner?
Hood - My first answer to all your build questions; past, present, and future.

Speaking of which:
Don't even need TO for this.  Any decent Hood build, especially one with Celerity, one-rounds [Azathoth, the most powerful greater deity from d20 Cthulu].
Does it bug anyone else that we've reached the point where characters who can obliterate a greater deity in one round are considered "decent?"

Who are you and what did you did to Endraire? where is his Hood Plug-in? :p

Thanks for the link, seems interesting, though I am not sure my friends will like me cluttering the battlefield with summons.

You could throw in Phrenic for fun.

Dusk, now that I have a Hood link in my signature, there's less reason to plug it.  You can be a very potent force with a Trancer build @10.  Go, go level 4 Wizard spells with super high jumping and uber damage!

Why not go with Spellcarved Soldier instead of Warforged Juggernaut? Extra ring slot and total immunity to sneak attack, crits and the like is always good.
