On the heels of the success of the Favorite Spell thread, I present the Favorite Prestige Class thread!

Please post your suggestions for your favorite 50 Prestige Classes.

I'll start with Anima Mage.

EDIT: Now with DOUBLE the number of Prestige Class suggestions allowed!

One per post?

If so I choose the Dervish. Not because it is particularly powerful (although decent run of the mill glass cannon builds can be centered around it and a swift hunter), but because I've kindda always like the idea of a battle-dancing scimitar wielding arabic inspired character.

Other PrCs I'd suggest would be (in no particular order):
Incantatrix
Planar Shepherd
Initiate of the Sevenfold Veil
Thrallherd
Warshaper
Ur-Priest
Ruby Knight Vindicator
Monks are pretty much the best designed class ever.

We might want more than 25. Either way, there will be a preliminary round.

My top ten (of those not mentioned...you know RKV would be here):
Abjurant Champion
Chameleon
Ordained Champion
Bloodstorm Blade
Jade Phoenix Mage
Halfling Outrider
Master of Many Forms
War Weaver
Eldritch Disciple
Primeval

For Bowen:
Bear Warrior

Church Inquisitor
Master Specialist
Ultimate Magus
Spellsword
Sacred Exorsist
Ghostfaced Killer

I like the top two just because they're basically freebies for casters at level 4, and spellsword (one level only) and sacred exorsist are nice for gishes.  Ghostfaced killer just looks cool, but it's not a strong class.

If we're only allowed to pick one, it will be Ultimate Magus.  Just for the record, the last two of these had everyone each submit five requests, and there was a preliminary voting round to pick the top fifty.  We could do it that way.

Are we allowing in any home-brew, like tome PrCs?

of those I like that aren't mentioned would have to be Suel Arcanamach. While it probably needs to be updated to more modern standards for things like the ASF feature it is still an awesomely flavorful class.

Wow... that would open up so many awesome ones... I should really get around to playing some of the other cool ones, rather than always going with a Stranger with the Burning Eyes. I can't help myself, though. I just love that PrC so much.   :P

There's more than enough good PrCs to fill 25 slots without homebrew. If you want to up it to 50 though, be my guest.

If we do that it might be a good idea to allow for people to save 2 at a time at the beginning

It looks like we're doing 50 now.  Lets see how many we currently have:

37 or 38 or so.  We're going to need more suggestions.  I can suggest some that look flavorful but otherwise suck, but it's almost certain that they'll get lost in the first several rounds anyway, so I don't really see the point.  Maybe we don't want to do 50 unless some other people can make some suggestions.

You all forgot the Beholder Mage.

Nothing says awesome as being a freaking beholder with 9th level spells on level 9.
Monks are pretty much the best designed class ever.
