CAT RESCUE!
« on: November 27, 2010, 10:55:43 PM »
I just found a stray kitty.  It's about 6 months old, gender undetermined (I cant get hold of it), fluffy gray, short or medium hair, with claws.  Obvious pet since it's very trusting, very clean so owner must be close, but how the hell do I find them?  Meows a lot so I'm uncertain if it's in distress or not.  Was pretty hungry, and seems to have fixated on me since I invited it in.

I can't afford to keep it :(

But I cant let her die outside starving and cold.

Needs advice!

Call PETA?  :smirk

Seriously though, go door knocking or print a flyer and stick on the nearest lamp post.

I'd ask locally, yes. Is there a vet nearby? Show them the cat and ask if they know the owner.

Forgotten I'd cross posted here.  I wasn't able to find anywhere to take kitty until the vet volunteered at the last moment rather than put him down.   Was a serious moment of relief for me.
