Hi all.
As I answered on the poll, I'm part of the WotC Rebellion. Though it's been a long time since then, I was invited here by our mutual dear friend Autumn. Of course, I wasn't JohnOSevens then. You all knew me as SageBahamut, amateur optimizer and picker of details, glad to stand in such august company once again.

Though I still am against a full scale rebellion that many big names were a part of, it's nice to have you hear. And I do remember you! Seeing the handle SageBahamut somewhere always meant good times.

Hi all!

I am new to this board and pretty unknown on the WotC boards, but was an avid reader of them for the last years. I'll try to be more active here, and yes ... i'm CO at heart  ;) but will try to post in more forums than the Min/Max It one *g*

Some personal things about me? ...

I hit 30 years last october and play RPGs for the last ... puh ... 19 years or so, live and work in Vienna, Austria as a WebProgrammer and most of the time hang out in forums and boards besides coding.

Wanna know more ... just ask  :D

I Couldn't find this thread so i figured it didn't exist. But then i found it. I do this podcast called Trapcast and we usually end up bumping into Gameologist via internet conversations. I played way too much DnD growing up, and now we're all branching out to the games all the cool kids are playing. I'm not as popular as trapcast_Jenn cause she has boobs and talks about things which, had they been animated, would give people seizures.

Hallooo! And welcome!  :D

People usually think that I've lost my mind. I haven't lost it, I know exactly where it is: the gutter.

My body is a temple. That is why I make chocolate sacrifices in it every day.

Hi there,
I am new to this board, got a PM and felt like introducing myself.

About me:
My real name is Robert, I'm from Bavaria(Germany, but that's not the same^^) and my first RPG was AD&D.
"Ivory Knight" was my Accountname at dnd-gate.de(german D&D-Fansite), so I used it for WOTC.
I looked frequently through the CO-Boards and used some of the Handbooks, when building Charakters(and NPC's :devil).
Only ever started 1 or 2 threads, since I don't have much time to make(or play) Charakters(I also play Shadowrun, Star Wars D20, Savage Worlds and a bunch of other RPG's).

My Answer on the Poll:
Followed a link from the CO-Board over at WOTC.

About D&D:
I tried 4th Edition, but found it inferior.
Pathfinder looks promising, waiting for the german Version.

Welcome Ivory Knight!

We have plenty of handbooks over here(look in the handbooks section of minmax) and questions are quickly and well answered if you post a thread.

I learned that the hard way. Had a classmate from Bavaria who indeed made sure that NO-ONE would forget that.

Welcome on my behalf as well, hope you like the gang.

Hi there! I have just joined Brilliant Gameologists forums, although I've been using its guides for quite some time. I live in Athens, Greece and I am just a student! I have to admit that these forums are Brilliant and everybody here like a part of a huge family!!! I've been playing D&D 3.5 since past July (I think) and I must say that I was impressed by how a creative hobby D&D is!

Don't wanna be rude or sth, but I want to ask rparavicini how's the weather like usually in late March. I may be visiting Vienna! Must thank my school for that! :P"

Good day everybody! My name is Lima, or at least that is what everyone calls me, and I am glad to finally join the social aspect of this forum.

I have been hanging around the forum for a while, but I would always shy away from the idea of joining because I am still a relative newcomer to actual DnD gaming. Hopefully that will change soon and I will get to know the community.

Hmm, you are the first one to start an introduction thread, I think.

In spite of that, welcome! Hope you enjoy your stay.

I had a German friend for a while there who, whenever I produced a news story about anything 'German' that wasn't casting the country in a glowing light, disdainfully muttered, It's probably a Bavarian. For some reason, it made me laugh.

Interesting, one of the moderators actually invited me to make a greetings thread when I first joined. I wonder if that isn't normal as well, hm.

(Kai could have accidentally mis-worded your greeting. She does do a lot of them and I suspect she's human.)

I believe she suggested that you post IN the introduction thread here. Not a big deal, though. :)
