Hi, my name is Josh.
I'm in my late 20's and have been playing games for 15 years. Started with Magic, then Legend of the Five rings. Moved on to rp with Vampire which I ran for my friends, then onto DnD and starting playing some minis games. I've played a lot of games. I work for a hardcore record lable and I'm about to buy a gamestore with a friend to keep gaming alive in our area.

Nice to meet you all.

Hey everyone,

Mid 20's, male gamer. Experience with 3.5 primarily, but a smattering of others as well.

Greetings.
Wandered over from GitP forums.
I play 3.5 but like to fiddle around with rules-systems of all types.

Hey. I'm Magnyr_Delorn, and I enjoy making characters more than playing them.

Hi. I like to make costume props, and I'm majoring in Mechanical Engineering right now. I love D&D 3.5, though, so I look forward to this site very much!

I don't know if the designers meant you to take Skill Focus for every feat.
Sounds a little OP.

The monk is clearly the best class, no need to optimize here. What you are doing is overkill.

It's like people who have no idea what a turn signal is. They ruin it for everyone else.
When another driver brandishes a holy symbol and begins glowing with divine light, seek cover or get spattered with zombie brains. I do not see what is so complicated about this.

It's been a long time, and I'm playing D&D 3.5e again, only to find that WotC nuked all their own board resources.  Oivey.

You're probably in the right place, then. :D

Hi all, I too am a long-time lurker here. I am almost 40, male, long-time (read "red box basic") D&Der, loved AD&D (as in my first 10-20 characters all wore studded leather, 'cause it was just too cool). I had a loooong hiatus thru the late '80s and '90s, and returned to the game via Baldur's Gate. I am 3.5 all the way (just can't grasp 4e), but I do miss all those '80s TSR games; Gamma World, Star Frontiers, Top Secret... Also dabbled with Villains and Vigilantes, but never got a shot at Traveler...

Still don't play too much, but as someone just said, I really enjoy making characters. Look forward to posting my first build here in the big-leagues.

Hello, I am a duck. :V

More specifically, I've been browsing the MinMaxing forum for a bit, and now I've accumulated enough specific thoughts that I'd like to reply to and inquire about, so I made an account. Who knows? Maybe I'll get sucked into the community proper at some point.  :p

Mid-20's fellow from the Appalachian foothills. Wizards got dull, so went to Giant in the Playground, and one of the posters there thought I might also enjoy posting my creations here.

I have some hundreds of creatures, dozens of templates and in general love creepy crawlies (though have also done plenty of stuff across the board). I'm a natural sciences major, explorer/hiking enthusiast, and avid writer/journalist/photographer.

I'm not anything like a nerd or geek, but a romantic who enjoys the flavor of fantasy and the writing medium of online D&D. It's one of my favorite hobbies and games. Also use it as a medium to expand upon ideas for creatures and characters in my writings so I can usually pass myself off in bad lighting  ;)

Hi! You can thank Prime32 for showing me those boards first! I plan to make this my main homebrew central from now on!

My work
The tier system in a nutshell:
[spoiler]Tier 6: A cartographer.
Tier 5: An expert cartographer or a decent marksman.
Tier 4: An expert marksman.
Tier 3: An expert marksman, cartographer and chef who can tie strong knots and is trained in hostage negotiation or a marksman so good he can shoot down every bullet fired by a minigun while armed with a rusted single-shot pistol that veers to the left.
Tier 2: Someone with teleportation, mind control, time manipulation, intangibility, the ability to turn into an exact duplicate of anything, or the ability to see into the future with perfect accuracy.

I have been away from here for a long time. I see some people I recognize and some I don't. I can remember some of you from the great migration from the wiz boards, the mass exodus if you will, and I noticed some missing faces. Any one from the old days gone for good? Any one still around. Any one even remember me?

Eh, don't have so much of a beef with any of them so much as the boards are so watered down I got an infaction for calling someone a 'piscine bigot' as a joke on a thread about Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest  :twitch

Hey, now my DAD is a 'huge' geek. He raised me with that stuff so I picked a tongue-in-cheek name when I was 13 because I was always told I could be so fuzzy and sweet right up until I bit your head off :D
