You'll probably catch on. When I got here I could not min/max myself out of a wet paper bag, I am still far from an expert (I have to much AFK time for that :whistle). Still, with some quick research even I have managed to put together a somewhat proper character.

Anyway, welcome aboard

Hey all. I stumbled on BG scouring the web trying to learn more about Duskblades (to no avail...yet).

My work
The tier system in a nutshell:
Tier 6: A cartographer.
Tier 5: An expert cartographer or a decent marksman.
Tier 4: An expert marksman.
Tier 3: An expert marksman, cartographer and chef who can tie strong knots and is trained in hostage negotiation or a marksman so good he can shoot down every bullet fired by a minigun while armed with a rusted single-shot pistol that veers to the left.
Tier 2: Someone with teleportation, mind control, time manipulation, intangibility, the ability to turn into an exact duplicate of anything, or the ability to see into the future with perfect accuracy.
Tier 1: Someone with teleportation, mind control, time manipulation, intangibility, the ability to turn into an exact duplicate of anything and the ability to see into the future with perfect accuracy.
Hello I am Fauntix. I have played D&D 3.5 for 5 years and never learned how to optimize or min/max a chara. I hope to learn quickly here on how to do that. Most of the time I feel like I am against the wall  :banghead with my group claiming to have broken charas and what not... but none of them are using any tier 1 classes. So I decided to jump on here and show them what for. lol

Yeah, I experienced the same thing about 3 years ago when I started optimizing heavily. I joined a game where everyone was bragging about their awesomely optimized characters, but none of them was playing a Wizard. When I asked why, one of them said, "Because arcane spellcasters are weak." So I decided to show them what power really was in the form of a Focused Specialist (Conjurer)/Master Specialist/Mage of the Arcane Order/Paragnostic Apostle/Archmage build practically plagiarized from Treantmonk's Guide to Wizards. It wasn't even broken, just very nicely optimized, but it gave everyone at that table a new appreciation for arcane spellcasters. Now I DM for that group.  ;)

Hey guys and possibly gals I'm pretty new to rpg's in general but I have been wargaming for roughly 16 years now. I'm hoping to learn alot about rpg'ing here as apparently I'm not so good at it  :lmao
Other things I like to do include airsoft, building sports and race cars especially RX7's (yes real ones :P) drifting,4 wheeling, sport shooting, sport bikes, bmx, paintball, and parkour to name a few. Really rpgs and tabletop are my two big geek obsessions :D

Anything else you want to know about me feel free to ask.

Hello I've often come to these boards before for advice by lurking, but have just now actually gotten an account. I've been DMing and playing various rpgs (primarily various incarnations of D&D) for a good 5 years now.

Yo peeps. Trying, again, to get more active with this board and figured I could give a short introduction to the new people and to those, who hoped I would not start posting again.

Long story short, I am Tshern, a formerly active poster, whose post rate has gone down due to tremendous changes in my life over the past year or so. If I manage to keep up with the pace here, you will probably see more of my high quality posts.

To commemorate my possible return, I even changed my signature and avatar. Serious shit.

Agita: A Finn, but only spending a few months a year in Finland anymore as I nowadays soil Finland's reputation elsewhere. Or, well, not right now, working in Finland during the summer...

We're working on it.

It's also a little cold because of that.

"Just what do you think the moon up in the sky is? Everyone sees that big, round shiny thing and thinks there must be something round up there, right? That's just silly. The truth is much more awesome than that. You can almost never see the real Moon, and its appearance is death to humans. You can only see the Moon when it's reflected in things. And the things it reflects in, like water or glass, can all be broken, right? Since the moon you see in the sky is just being reflected in the heavens, if you tear open the heavens it's easy to break it~"

Oh dear, I just studied, among other things, politics and economics for a year. Need to take a small break. Unless you say something really, really off-the-wall, of course.

More that since your absence no one else has provided exploits, so I've found some really funny porn to make up for the boredom  :D

Basically the same thing, I was the one bringing in the exploits. But yes, I am back, so now you have porn and me.
