So we're all agreed. Kitties rule :]
10+ yrs. of roleplay experience, yet I still dunno what the crap I'm doing >__<

1% of DM's started their first campaign in outer space. If you're one of the 99% that didn't, you're not as weird as me xD

Hullo. I'm Wil. I was listening to This Modern Death and they mentioned BG a fair amount, so I gave a listen and joined up in the forums. I'm a student in University of Toronto, freelance writer, gamer, and hammer of Thor.

I prefer a good old Platypus, how is it possible that they have not yet bested kitties in the ever-going "contest of cute"?

And they can not electro-locate their prey with a highly charming beak, how can people possibly not love that feature about them?

Okay, I never thought I'd say this... This is too off topic for this off topic thread. :P

This thread is for introductions. Take your kitten v platypus debate to another thread. ;) And make a poll.

As soon as i figure out how to make a poll, I will be damned if I don't. The glory of the platypus shall reign eternally!

Hi all!  I hate writing introductions, so I'll leave it at that for now.

Hey BG world,

Yeah, I'm Justin, I started Role-playing around 2nd edition AD&D (I stopped at 3.5) and have had few if any successful campaigns until recently. My second love was Shadowrun for the longest time until I decided to be dangerous (for a gamer) and attempt some other role-playing games. I'm so glad I did too. I ended up finding Burning Wheel, and, most recently, Eclipse Phase.

All interested parties in a local Burning Wheel game ended up heading off to college and I am left without a group. Given that the local area is dried up I figured I would go looking through a few of the message boards that I troll to see if I can dig up a few players. I am new to the system though so if you are interested please be patient with me.

Welcome, Justin :)

If you don't find any new players in your area, you might want to check out the Play-By-Post area here to get your 'fix' :)

Sup doods?

I'm Taanyth I'm 22 and i study Computers Engineering.

I've been playing D&D since 1999, more specifically since Baldur's Gate (Damn that game unleashed the geek inside me), and DMing since 2005. Been lurking here since like forever though recent events (Banned from Paizo and not being able to resist the Turn Gamer effect the new WotC forums have on me) made me decide to make these forums my permahome.

Hello all I'm Scott. I used to post as the Grig Fiddler over on the WotC boards but found a link here and decided I liked it much better. Hope that I don't agitate you guys too badly with my inferior rpg knowledge.

I try to avoid posting my regards first, because the image I give of the boards might not be the best one, but here I go.

Welcome!
