Make a Monk/Bard.

No use of Ur Priest or Sublime Chord allowed.

That's not really the same, it's not someone claiming it's impossible.  I think you just picked something weird.

Also, see the exact build above, but swap out 14 levels of monk for Shou Disciple 5/Bard 9.  Drop Snap Kick.  Add in Words of Creation and Song of the Heart.  Take the Bardic Knack variant.

It's just as above, only your BAB is now higher, you have one fewer attacks (but you also don't get the -2 to hit), your AC is a little higher, and you've got a decent Inspire Courage (+6).  Inspire Competance gives a +5 to skill checks, and Inspire Greatness gives +4HD when you need.  Due to Bardic Knack you've got lots of little utility skills that aren't great, but are still handy (take 1 rank or even 1/2 rank in lots of trained only skills).

So, you're a melee powerhouse when it comes to charging, but you're also a decent party buffer with lots of little utility skills.  Any skill you have a 1/2 rank in or can be used untrained you can effectively have 9 ranks in, which is nice for stuff like craft and appraise.  You're by no means a godly caster, but you're certainly handy to have in game.

You could also do this by leaving in Snap Kick and just taking Imperious Command, then taking the Inspire Awe variant for bards, then taking Never Outnumbered.  I'll let you figure out what that bit of madness does (basically it's awesome against anyone not immune to fear).

You've taken the spirit of the challenge and trampled it beneath the dancing hooves of your holy mount. Are you satisfied with yourself?

Yeah, there wasn't enough actual Bard and Monk in there, but you have to admit he did end up with the Bard and Monk abilities.  Mine actually used 6 levels of Monk and 9 of Bard, but of course the feats and templates were where most of the power actually was, so it wasn't perfect either.

But hey, we're hardly using great tools here.  Monk's not a great class to do things with!

Shadow Dark Mercury Dragon!  Accept no substitutes (but then add spellcasting).

Monk speed boost and Expeditious Retreat are both Enhancement bonuses.  Past Monk 9, ER is useless.

Here's another one:

bard8/monk2/enlightenedfist10 or bard9/monk1/EF10 depending on tastes

monk abilities as an 11th or 12th level monk, spellcasting as a 16th or 17th level bard, bardic music as an 8th or 9th level bard, ascetic mage eliminates MAD

Would the wings of swift flying/cloud wings/whatever-it's-called spell work then?

Another monkish build I'm working on is a monk-lock

monk2/warlock4/enlightenedfist10/warlock4

Monk abilities as a 12th level monk, invocations as a 16th level warlock

The monk's fast movement should work nicely with fell flight and spidershape is okay if only for the size increase.

So long as those don't give enhancement bonuses, yes, they would.

Alright, another thing I was thinking of was making use of Drunken Master's Corkscrew Rush combined with the Dungeoncrasher ability.

Something like Dwarf Monk2/Fighter6/FotF1/Drunken Master9/FotF2?

I'm sorry, I just like the 8d6 + 3x Str. bonus damage... and yes I am aware that Knockback does this easier. I just like mucking around with underpowered classes to achieve funny things.
