Q 245: How can I get additional swift actions in one turn?  Not necessarily for additional spells, but say for activating a magic item and casting a quickened spell in the same turn.

Change your other ones into them. You can use your move and standard actions as swift actions instead.

As far as I know, this is wrong.

edit: however, Ruby Knight Vindicator can do it for a turn attempt and a weird psionic race in CPsi can do it once a day.

Couldn't tell you where it is. It's all I know. Every group I've ever been in has used that rule. Even Google has failed me short of http://okayyourturn.yuku.com/topic/14253/t/Swift-Actions.html from 2 years ago, and that 4th will be using it. Maybe Pathfinder does too. If it's a house rule then it's one that everyone I know here has been using since 2003.

Be that as it may, you're still only allowed 1 swift casting of spells or psionics per round.

This is 4e/SWSE.  It is not in the 3.5e ruleset at all.

Per Rules Compendium, you can convert a Standard Action into a Move Action. There is no mention of converting Standard or Move Actions into Swift Actions, at least not in the Action page.

That'd good to know at least.

Q 244 245 This is mostly for McPoyo, but if anyone knows the answer by all means chime in. I read in a thread he was in that there is apparently a minion mechanic in 3.5 that doesn't involve using feats like Leadership or the like. Does anyone know what book that's mentioned in?

So, If I developed a Epic Spell named 'Summon Monster', would the Deceptive Summons class feature of the Malcovoker apply to it =3?

Q241 If an StP erudite manifests Mental Pinnacle. Does he simply gain extra power points for CL rounds? If so, will combining this with bestow power give you a recharge mechanism?

no... not in the ordinary sense, since the Spell has this clause: "For the duration of this spell, you use magic items and psionic items as if you were a psion with only the five powers given above on your class list."

Bestow Power is not one of them ....

This is why you manifest it on your PSICRYSTAL.
It uses your bestow power on you. (See manifesting from another's powers known.)
