Rezzik casts Knock on the locked, jeweled box.
((And yet so many people call that spell useless.))

After casting knock on the box, it opens up to reveal a pair of goggles, a pair of bracers, three individual pearls, and two money pouches. If you counted the money, it'd probably be 3000 gold and 85 platinum. Also, if anyone appraised the box itself, the jewels would be discovered to be rubies, diamonds, and amethysts totaling around 5000 gold.

The mud trail leads down the stairs into the basement. There are two grates. One that leads outside to where the river is flowing into, and a second that leads to the courtyard's central pool. The one leading to the courtyard has been destroyed completely by what could only be described as an explosion. What remains of the grate bends out towards the courtyard itself.

A plethora of exotic flowers and plants populate the lush courtyard. A small pond dotted with water lillies sits at the center of yard. Benches and a marble stone table with a beautifully crafted marble and iron dragonchess set built into its surface are before you. There is a darkened spot just off to the side of the stream in the direction of the doorway leading back into mansion. There are no visible tracks anywhere to be seen in the green pasture of grass that fills this area.

Walking through the grass, and back into the mansion, the bear goes up the stairs, the blindsense not going off. Continuing the ascent to the third floor, you notice that all of the rooms have their door open. A quick peek in lets you see that closet doors have also been opened, and dresser drawers pulled out and sifted through. Someone was looking for something.

Making your way to where you sense a presence earlier, you come to a somewhat large bedroom. This room, more than the others, has been thoroughly ransacked. If there was anything of value here, it's gone now. At the end of the room, a single window has been opened all the way, causing the curtains to be blown by the cool breeze coming through.
((And since you're entering this room first, instead of making it dead last, make a listen check. Anyone going with the bear can do so as well.))
Rezzik responds to the contents of the box, saying "Hmm, no other clues in here, though there are quite a bit of valuable possessions inside."
((Rezzik casts detect magic, focusing on the items in the box.))
Alenatorion looks at the items they found and he says:
"The only thing that I could use is the goggles and the wand of cure wounds,
but before we take these items maybe we could see if one of you has any way of either ressurecting him or if this is not possible ask him for information...."

Raynor nood to the Dragion borns question saying "Yes there is a way i could summon a Monadic Deva and let her do it but that has it's own risks like the soul that we get does not garentee that it is this dwarfs soul but if you want me to summon it I will" as he pockets the dagger.

"If you want, I can identify all this stuff with a minor spell. says Alkazar. You could all borrow my monocle to do it."

Alkazar casts detect magic, and identifies everything one item at a time.
He can Identify 170 items in 17 minutes with his artificers monocle if necessary. As he's identifying the stuff he will say loudly what they do.
Melkior looks to Raynor.
"Alas I have prepared nothing that can resurrect a waned body at this time. I too could summon something to do it, for example a Solar, but I doubt Pelor will grant me such a favor for just ressurecting a single individual. What are the risks of this Monadic Deva you speak of? You are the summoning specialist, you should assert the risks of this, but questioning this man would grant us much, as well as we'd be saving a life, of which there is no greater boon."

After having Identified the stuff Alkazar returns saying:
"If no-one else needs these, I could use the robe and the crossbow. It's better than the mundane one I have."

Raynor says with a smile his tone had swapped to one that is as cold as ice.

Rezzik and Alkazar combine their efforts in discovering what the items are, while unfolding the robe for a better look at it. Inside the pocket, another pearl is found tucked away.
((The items are goggles of minute seeing, pearl of power 0th, pearl of power 3rd, pearl of power 4th, pearl of power 6th, and strongarm bracers. The 0th level pearl was found in the robe.))

((Looking at your languages, no, you do not understand what is being said. You do know that it is a very gruff speaking tone. Think Star Trek's Klingon. The window is sized for someone that is just larger than a medium creature, but you'd still have to squeeze through it. You can take 10 on the spot, which gives you 46, so yes you see something coming towards the mansion from the dome you all originally arrived at. However, due to the trees being so lush with greenery, you do not see what they are exactly. However, you do see a few colours. Probably the most distinct is the red you occasionally see. They'd just left the dome so you'd have some time before they got to you. At least, that's what you think considering how long it took you guys to get to the mansion, not including the time that was used to speak with the plants.))

((Okay then...))
The bears eased at the sight. The shielded bear's body started to contort at odd angles and slowly grow smaller. When all was said and done a frail looking humaniod with deep brown skin and forest green hair stood next to the bear. It wore the same mask, while the body is covered with a plain brown robe. The large bone and middle arms stayed as well. "Another was called?" Said the figure thoughtfully, as it turned back to the room. With a quick motion of its hands and a few short words, its eyes start to glow again.

The now humanoid and bear return to the trophy room. "Another approaches." says the humanoid, sounding somewhat distracted. With the bear in toe they make their way around the room, and then leave.

((Well...I will give the building a once over with Detect Secret Doors and Detect Magic while the group debates the pros and cons of rezzing. I can keep Doors up for 11 mins and Magic for 15 mins, how many castings would you say that is?))

"Ah, so we do have a Druid among us. Well, if there is a question as to what we should do, I suggest we wait to resurrect the dwarf until after we receive this new arrival, in whatever way that needs to happen."

I think we should greet this new guest and see if they may know anything more than we do.

Raptor will wait for the new arrival in the main entrance. He will be hovering near the ceiling when he talks to them, just in case they aren't interested in working with us.

Entering a room full of books, the figure appeared to become interested. The figure scans the room.

As everyone who's not in the trophy hall, or still searching the mansion, positions themselves by the door, it opens.

The first to enter is an undead demon looking creature, his eyes glowing like fire, and his left arm carrying a lit longsword of fire. He's wearing rather intimidating breastplate armor, a mysterious helmet, and well designed boots. He continues in, not seeming to notice anyone who's invisible.

Behind him, a creature similar in appearance, but with green glowing eyes, and wearing full plate comes in after him. He is holding a scepter of some kind, and a longsword. He too doesn't seem to notice anyone invisible.
((Those of you who are invisible, make Sense Motive checks. DC is...
1d20+21 ? [9,21] = (30)
http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/2760016/
1d20+16 ? [19,16] = (35)
http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/2760023/))))

((Those of you who see invisible, or have blindsight/blindsense, notice a third person sneak in and head into the far corner leading to Room 3. Check OOC.))
In the background, two large sized creatures are waiting to get in. Both speak of their distaste for having to wait outside. One speaks with a bassy voice, the other adds a few gorilla grunts every now and then during their sentence. They can't really be seen due to the cover of the doorway, and the two undead beings standing in the way, but it can be distinguished that they are different. One has black fur, the other has red skin.

"General Van, ooh ooh. Why do you not step forward enough so that we can also enter? Ooh, ooh."

The fiery-eyed man steps to the left a bit before answering.

"Take a good look, my ape-like friend. It does not seem that we were the only ones to be called. Nor do we seem to be the first arrivals."

His voice is very distinguished sounding, but at the same time you can't help but feel a chill down your spine.

The two creatures look down as best as they can so that at least half of the head can peer in. It can be now seen that the red-skinned creature has large horns, while the furry one really does look like an ape. A demon ape, but an ape nonetheless.

Alenatarion looks weirded out by the new arrival but he is determined to stay his hand until their intentions are unveiled....

"So I assume that you were also called here by Tarmin Squire?"

Dez is currently invisible, though Rezzik didn't have the forethought to cast one of his invisibility spells. Dez can see the third, invisible arrival as well, and notes them.

The fiery-eyed undead looks at Alenatarion with a smile.

"Tarmin Squire? Oh yes, the feeble paladin that was begging for help. Yes, he did. It seems you were called up on as well. It makes me think more and more that these scrolls were randomly thrown out to anyone capable of hunting beasts. Mind you, not everyone in my group was given a scroll. Just two of us. The others came because we are a team after all."

The green eyed undead takes a step forward. Spinning his longsword, he raises the handle, and points it at Alenatorion.

"If you would be so kind of as to not move, I promise this won't hurt a bit. It's just that I'm feeling rather itchy, and I'm pretty sure I know why. It's a harmless spell, really."
((You can use Sense Motive, but he's telling the truth. He casts Detect Good from his sword somehow.))
"Yeah, okay. That's why I'm feeling itchy. He's good."  Satisfied with the results, he lowers his sword completely and backs up five feet. Waving his wand in Alenatorion's direction, he continues speaking. "If you'd be so kind as to stay where you're standing, that'd be much appreciated."
((Dez's skill checks lets him know that the fiery-eyed guy can see invisible no problem, but you don't know about the others, and the Planes checks let you know you're dealing with a large-sized glaberzu, which are normally huge-sized, an undead lemorian demon, the invisible one is a kelvezu demon, an undead half-fiend, and a bar-lgura demon.))
