No, you can't. You're susceptible to everything, including coup de graces. I'd forgotten that the Blasphemy hit you. It was Alkazar that was warded.

Even though I can't quite see anything keeping a helpless character from making a saving throw, raw, Rezzik can't reach that DC. With an effective Dex of 0, and penalties for negative levels, his Reflex save was +2 before taking yet another negative level (some kind of metamagic or something on that spell?).

Helpless is the same as paralyzed.

Death Threshold = HD + CON

If you take 1 pt more than that, you die.

And a reminder, you self-stabilize. I hate that "take 1 damage if you don't roll two of 10 numbers on a d10."

Does Alkazars Violet Veil stop the Blade Barrier?

If not, he will throw up a Blue/Indigo Warding around the cleric that is dangerous in both directions, to stop his daylight (which it will since if it cannot negate the first veil, it wont negate the second). Then the rest of the clerics spells will fizzle, and he probably wont be able to move unless he wants to risk the saves.

I didn't realize he had a Violet one. I'd have used a different spell in that case. It might destroy the barrier. It says it destroys all effects.

And only the Blue would still be up if you cast them. Blue only stops divination spells and mental attacks. Daylight negates the Indigo veil and they're both canceled out like light and darkness would. What's the DC again, just in case?

The cleric does look back at the barrier being destroyed, and sneers, but he doesn't stick around. He knows Alkazar is a problem, but there are bigger threats out there to deal with. If allowed to, he'll do his movement without any barriers in way, hopefully.

DC is 27

And no, the Indigo cannot go down if the blue doesn't go down first, it specifically mentions that in the Iot7v description.

Hmm. That's not a bad DC.

So you can cancel all of my spells without a care in the world, but if I don't do all the veils in a specific sequence yours all stay standing? Wow that sucks. Talk about an "I Win!" button.
